細寒天を味わう駅併設のカフェレストラン

「山岡駅かんてんかん」は明知鉄道・山岡駅に隣接する食と健康の施設で、寒天カフェレストランは寒天資料館の奥にあります。大きな窓から走る列車を眺めながら、コーヒーや寒天デザート、食事を楽しめます。山岡町の特産である細寒天を料理に取り入れているのが特徴です。

寒天らーめんや土日祝限定の寒天御膳

寒天らーめんは税込650円。かんてんかんセットは1,000円、ミニは830円で、土日も注文できます。寒天御膳は土日祝限定で1,580円。寒天らーめんや寒天巻、ところてん、地元ブランド肉の生姜焼きなどが付きます。ところてんは単品300円です。

営業時間と休業日

施設の営業時間は9時30分～15時、レストランの昼食は11時～14時（一部メニューはラストオーダー14時45分）です。定休日は月曜日で、祝日の場合は翌日が休みです。店内の売店コーナーでは施設加工の寒天製品も購入できます。

An agar restaurant beside the railway station

Yamaoka Station Kantenkan is a food and wellness facility beside Yamaoka Station on the Akechi Railway. Its agar café and restaurant sits beyond the agar museum. From the large windows, diners can watch trains pass while enjoying coffee, agar desserts or a meal featuring fine agar, a local specialty.

Agar ramen and a set meal served on weekends and holidays

Agar ramen costs ¥650 including tax. The Kantenkan set is ¥1,000, or ¥830 for the mini size, and is also available on weekends. The kanten gozen is ¥1,580 and served on weekends and public holidays; it includes items such as agar ramen, an agar roll, tokoroten and ginger-fried local branded meat. Tokoroten is ¥300 on its own.

The facility is open 09:30–15:00; restaurant lunch is served 11:00–14:00, with some items available until 14:45. It closes on Mondays, or the following day when Monday is a public holiday. The shop also sells agar products processed at the facility.
