文珠の車の拠点を、寺と松並木の入口で選ぶ

文殊堂の隣にある駐車場で、南側の参拝・門前の買い物・松並木の散策を組み合わせられます。智恩寺は宮津市文珠466で、駅から寺へ徒歩約5分、宮津天橋立ICから寺へ車約10分の案内です。駐車場の入口と寺の参拝口は当日の表示に合わせ、歩く方向と車へ戻る場所を決めてください。市営天橋立駐車場やビューランド山麓の直営駐車場とは別施設で、同じ700円の表示があっても台数・入口・営業時間が同一とは限りません。車を置いた後の荷物と歩く範囲を含め、文珠の一か所を拠点に巡れます。

1日700円と400円を、24時間上限と取り違えない

乗用車1日700円、二輪車1日400円という日額の案内で、短時間でも時間貸しの100円・200円と刻む表ではありません。営業時間は通常8～17時なので、入庫時刻から24時間を一律に覆う上限や、夜も自由に車を出せる利用として予算を組まないでください。再入庫、複数日、営業時間外の留置や精算・支払い方法は、到着前に管理先や現地掲示で確認できます。駐車料金は宿泊・飲食代と別に見込み、店や宿の利用で割引を受ける場合は適用条件を確認してください。

バスの料金・予約不可と、車体の条件を照合する

バスは1日1,500円、回送500円の別区分が案内され、予約は受け付けません。回送の適用範囲を一般の観光バス利用へ一律に広げず、送迎の回数や停車の用途に合う区分を管理先へ確認してください。乗用車100台・バス10台という収容数は訪問日の空き保証ではありません。行事の車両制限が出る場合もあるため、利用日の掲示を確かめ、団体の集合と出発を場内の案内へ合わせられます。キャンピングカー等の車種や高さ・長さの個別制限は数値を推測せず、車体を伝えて確認できます。

松並木の長い散歩と、山上から戻る時間を加える

天橋立の松並木は約3.6kmにわたるため、入口付近を散歩するか対岸まで進むかで戻る時間が変わります。全体を歩く約50分という見学案内は片道の目安で、休憩や対岸での見学、駐車場までの帰路を別に加えてください。山上展望へ向かう場合も、山麓まで徒歩約5分で旅が終わるわけではなく、乗車待ちと往復のリフト・モノレールが必要です。秋の下り最終17時10分・17時20分は駐車場の通常17時終了より後なので、遅い便を使うなら当日の駐車時間を先に確認し、利用時間へ間に合う順路を選べます。

車を置く見学と、門前の食事・駅前の宿を組み合わせる

見学には天橋立ビューランド、食事には橋立大丸本店、滞在には天橋立ホテルを選べます。ビューランドの乗り物別の最終便と10・11月リフト点検、レストラン10～17時、ホテルの通常15時入室・火曜浴場点検を分けてください。観光後にホテルの駐車へ移す場合も、智恩寺の精算と宿の使用場所は別の手続きです。伊根など別町へ車で移動する予定なら、文珠へ戻るか出庫して次へ向かうかを、駐車営業時間より先に決められます。

Chionji Parking beside the temple in Monju, Miyazu, offers a car base for walks on Amanohashidate’s south side. Cars cost ¥700/day, motorcycles ¥400 and buses ¥1,500; normal 08:00–17:00 hours vary by season/events. For View Land, add a five-minute walk to the lower station and subsequent chairlift/monorail transport. A daily charge does not mean unrestricted arrival-based 24-hour access and differs from hotel/shop parking benefits. Choose temple visits, temple-front food and pine-grove walking around normal use until 17:00 and the return route.

Choose a Monju car base by the temple and pine-grove entrance

Beside the temple, the lot supports south-side visits, temple-front shopping and pine-grove walks. Chionji is at Monju 466, with about five minutes from the station or ten minutes by car from Miyazu-Amanohashidate IC. Follow current signs for the parking and temple entrances, choosing the walking direction and return point. Municipal Amanohashidate Parking and View Land’s own lower-station lot are separate facilities; matching ¥700 figures do not imply identical capacity, entrances or hours. Plan the Monju base around luggage and the area you will walk after parking.

Separate ¥700/¥400 daily prices from a 24-hour cap

Cars cost ¥700/day and motorcycles ¥400/day, rather than a published short-stay table in ¥100/¥200 increments. Normal hours are 08:00–17:00; do not budget as though one charge covers an arrival-based 24-hour cap or unrestricted night departures. Ask management or check signs about re-entry, multiple days, storage outside hours and payment methods. Budget parking separately from food and lodging, and check any eligibility requirements before relying on a hotel or restaurant discount.

Check bus prices, unavailable reservations and vehicle requirements

Buses are listed at ¥1,500/day with a separate ¥500 repositioning category, and cannot be reserved. Check eligibility around pickup movements and parking purpose rather than apply ¥500 to every tourist-bus visit. Capacity of 100 cars and ten buses does not guarantee visit-day space. Event vehicle restrictions can arise; check current signs and coordinate group assembly/departure with site guidance. For campers or particular height/length requirements, give the vehicle details to management rather than infer unlisted limits.

Add the long pine-grove walk and hilltop return time

Amanohashidate’s pine grove extends about 3.6 km, so return timing differs between an entrance-area walk and crossing to the opposite shore. The suggested roughly 50-minute walk is a one-way indication; add breaks, opposite-side visits and returning to the car. Hilltop viewing also needs queues and return chairlift/monorail transport beyond the five-minute lower-station walk. Autumn last descents at 17:10 and 17:20 follow normal parking closing at 17:00. Before choosing a late service, check the day’s parking hours and a route that returns within them.

Combine parked sightseeing with temple-front food and station lodging

Choose Amanohashidate View Land for sightseeing, Hashidate Daimaru Main Store for food and Amanohashidate Hotel for lodging. Separate last services and October/November chairlift inspections, restaurant hours 10:00–17:00, hotel room access at 15:00 and Tuesday bath inspection. Moving to hotel parking after sightseeing involves separate temple payment and hotel parking instructions. If driving onward to another town such as Ine, choose returning to Monju or departing for the next stop around the lot’s operating hours.
