車で高知城へ来て、そのまま中心街を歩く場合は、車へ戻る時刻を先に決めると予定が組めます。高知公園駐車場は18時30分までの営業で、普通車の泊車には対応していません。城の見学だけの日と、食事や宿泊まで続ける日で、必要な駐車時間を分けて考えましょう。

出庫の時刻から一日を組む
18時30分までに車へ戻る予定を置いてから、城の見学と街での食事を並べると考えやすくなります。駐車場から離れたあと、歩いて戻る時間も必要です。夜まで街で過ごす場合や、宿泊先へ車を置きたい場合は、それぞれの利用先に合う駐車条件を確認してください。
時間料金と車種の条件
普通車の料金は最初の1時間と、それ以降の30分単位で示されています。公式案内では二輪車の駐車と、乗降だけの利用を受け付けないとされています。観光バス向けの泊車料金は、普通車にも適用できる宿泊駐車の料金とは考えないでください。
年末年始の休園を確認する
2026年7月14日付の公式告知により、2026年12月31日と2027年1月1日は休園する案内です。一般の利用案内に残る年中無休の表記だけで、この期間の利用を決めないようにしてください。冬の高知旅行は、城の建物の休館期間と一緒に確認すると予定を整理できます。
入庫後は徒歩で城へ
駐車場へ停めたあとは、高知城の入口と見学範囲を確認して徒歩で進みます。城内には石段や坂道があるため、駐車から入館までの時間をそのまま館内見学の時間と重ねないようにしましょう。地図の位置だけで入口を判断せず、現地の案内に従ってください。
食事や宿泊とつなぐ場合
明神丸 ひろめ市場店での食事を続ける日は、車を出す時刻と店舗の営業終了を別の条件として確認します。城西館などへ宿泊する場合は、宿泊施設側の駐車方法と料金を案内で確かめてください。
When arriving by car for Kochi Castle and a city walk, decide when you will return to the vehicle first. Kochi Park Parking closes at 18:30 and does not allow overnight car parking. A castle-only visit and a day continuing into dinner or an overnight stay need different parking plans.

Build the day around collecting the car
Set a return to the car before 18:30, then arrange the castle visit and meal around it. Include the walk back from the city. If plans extend into the evening or a hotel stay, check parking conditions that fit the place you will use.
Time charges and vehicle conditions
Car charges are listed for the first hour and subsequent 30-minute periods. The official information excludes motorcycle parking and stopping solely to pick up or drop off passengers. The overnight charge for tourist buses is not an overnight parking option for cars.
Check the year-end closure
An official notice dated 14 July 2026 announces closure on 31 December 2026 and 1 January 2027. Use that notice for these dates rather than relying solely on the year-round wording in the general guide. Check the castle buildings’ closure period alongside it for a winter trip.
Continue to the castle on foot
After parking, check the entrance and visit area for Kochi Castle and continue on foot. The grounds include steps and slopes, so keep time from parking to admission separate from indoor viewing time. Follow local entrance signs alongside the map.
Connect parking with dining or a stay
If continuing to Myojinmaru at Hirome Market, treat the car collection time and the restaurant’s closing time separately. For a stay at Jyoseikan or another accommodation, check that property’s parking procedure and charges.
