フライト・オブ・ドリームズは、実物のボーイング787初号機を展示する屋内施設です。1階のフライトパークには飛行機・空港の展示と子どもの遊び場があり、2・3階のシアトルテラスには飲食店などが集まります。飛行機に乗る予定がなくても、空港を訪ねる目的地になります。

実物の787を間近に見て航空を学ぶ

フライトパークの展示エリアでは、ボーイング787の周囲を回り、パネル・映像・実物資料で開発の歩みや飛行機の仕組みを学べます。コックピットを見学できるほか、空港や航空の仕事も紹介。フライトシミュレーターは別料金の体験です。上階のシアトルテラスでは、機体の迫力を感じながら食事や買い物を組み合わせられます。

無料の遊び場と有料のネット遊具

キッズエリアは0～12歳向けで、乳幼児のクッション遊び場、登ったり滑ったりする遊具、ロープ遊びなどが年齢別に分かれています。有料の「もくもクラウド」は地上約6mのネットトランポリンで、3歳～小学生が対象、1日フリーパス500円。保護者は原則1名無料で、未就学児には同伴が必要です。保護者1名につき子ども3名までで、小学生の保護者同伴は不要。利用時は靴下を着用します。

17時までの遊びと18時30分までのテラス

フライトパークは10～17時、シアトルテラスは10時～18時30分で、施設は年中無休です。飲食店やショップは店舗ごとに営業時間が異なります。混雑時はフライトパークへの入場を一時中断する場合があります。授乳室は1・2階にあり、2階は調乳用温水器付き。3階案内所では生後2～36か月向けベビーカーを借りられます。

駅から5分、荷物と飲食物の持ち込み条件

中部国際空港駅から徒歩5分、最寄りのP3駐車場から徒歩2分です。手荷物カートは3階で使えますが、1・2階では使えません。ロッカーは3階が有料、1階には利用者向け無料簡易ロッカーがあり、いずれも数に限りがあります。フライトパークに持ち込める飲み物はペットボトル・水筒で、指定場所で飲みます。弁当など持参した飲食物の館内飲食はできず、パーク内の三脚・自撮り棒も使用できません。

常滑市の観光・宿泊・食事と駐車を組み合わせる

空港島の宿泊にはコンフォートホテル中部国際空港、車の利用にはセントレア一般駐車場が候補です。対岸のりんくう地区へ移動するならまるは食堂りんくう常滑店で魚介料理も楽しめます。フライトパーク17時、シアトルテラス18時30分の終了時刻を見込み、島内の徒歩や対岸への車・鉄道移動を分けて予定できます。

Flight of Dreams is an indoor attraction displaying the first Boeing 787. Flight Park on the first floor combines aviation and airport exhibits with children’s play areas, while Seattle Terrace on floors two and three contains dining and other outlets. It can be a destination at the airport even without taking a flight.

Explore aviation beside a real Boeing 787

Walk around the Boeing 787 in Flight Park’s exhibition area, using panels, films and objects to learn about its development and how aircraft work. Cockpit viewing and displays about airport and aviation jobs add to the visit. Flight simulators are separately charged activities. Upstairs, Seattle Terrace combines close views of the aircraft with dining and shopping.

Free play spaces and a paid net attraction

The children’s area serves ages zero to twelve, with age-specific cushioned infant space, climbing and sliding equipment, and rope play. The paid Mokumo Cloud net trampoline sits around six metres above ground and is for children aged three through elementary school, with a ¥500 day pass. Normally one guardian enters free. Preschool children require an accompanying guardian, with up to three children per adult; elementary pupils do not require an accompanying adult. Socks must be worn.

Flight Park closes at 17:00; the terrace stays open later

Flight Park opens 10:00–17:00 and Seattle Terrace 10:00–18:30, year-round. Restaurants and shops keep individual hours. Entry to Flight Park may be temporarily paused when crowded. Nursing rooms are on floors one and two, with warm water for formula preparation on the second floor. The third-floor information desk lends pushchairs intended for children aged two to thirty-six months.

A five-minute walk from the station; baggage and food rules

The attraction is five minutes on foot from Central Japan International Airport Station and two minutes from P3, its nearest parking area. Luggage carts may be used on the third floor but not on the first or second. Paid lockers are on the third floor, with limited free basic lockers for users on the first. Flight Park permits bottled drinks and personal water bottles, consumed only in designated areas. Outside meals and other brought-in food cannot be eaten inside the complex, and tripods and selfie sticks may not be used in the park.

Combine Tokoname sights, stays, dining and parking

For an airport-island stay consider Comfort Hotel Central International Airport, with Centrair General Parking for driving visits. A transfer to Rinku on the mainland allows seafood at Maruha Shokudo Rinku Tokoname. Plan around Flight Park’s 17:00 closing and Seattle Terrace’s 18:30 finish, allowing separately for island walks and rail or road travel to the mainland.
