広島を訪ねるとき、資料館では被爆者の遺品や証言、写真などの記録を通じて歴史を学ぶ時間を取れます。移動の合間に急いで見る予定にせず、展示を読む時間と見学後に過ごす時間を確保してください。常設展示にはWEB予約が必要な時間帯があるため、到着時刻を決めてから準備しましょう。

展示を読む時間を先に確保する
常設展示は被爆の実相や広島の歩みを資料から学ぶ場です。同行者と無理のない見学の進め方を相談し、次の予定を詰め込み過ぎずに訪ねてください。平和記念公園を歩く時間も別に取り、館内で読んだ記録を受け止める余裕を作れます。
早朝と夕方のWEB予約を準備する
7時30分～8時30分はWEBでの事前予約が必要です。3～7月・9～11月は17時30分以降、12～2月は16時30分以降の常設展示入場も予約が必要で、最終入館は閉館30分前です。8月は別の夕方時間帯が設定されます。通常時間の券で予約対象時間に入れるとは判断せず、旅行日の公式購入案内で対象を確認してください。混雑時はWEB券があっても待つ場合があります。
広島駅からの交通と、車の置き場所
公式アクセスには広島駅からのバス、観光循環バス、路面電車の経路があります。資料館と平和記念公園には一般自家用車用の駐車場がありません。車の方は有料駐車場からの移動を確認してください。市営中央駐車場は基町の施設なので、駐車した場所から資料館までの移動を別に取る予定になります。
大きな荷物を持つ日の準備
展示室への大きな荷物の持ち込みは控える案内で、東館1階にはコインロッカーがあります。サイズや空き状況を考え、宿などに荷物を置く方法も準備しておきましょう。館内では展示を静かに読み、撮影などは施設の利用案内に従ってください。
駅の宿と八丁堀の食事へつなぐ
ホテルグランヴィア広島を使う方は、駅北口から市内へ出る経路を確認できます。食事をみっちゃん総本店 八丁堀本店にする日は、資料館から八丁堀への移動と昼夜の営業時間を照合し、見学の時間を十分に取ったうえで順番を決めてください。
In Hiroshima, the museum offers time to learn through survivors’ belongings, testimony, photographs and other records. Allow time to read the displays and to spend after the visit. Some entry periods for the permanent exhibition require online reservations; decide an arrival time before preparing the visit.

Allow time to read the exhibition
The permanent exhibition presents the atomic bombing and Hiroshima’s history through records. Discuss a manageable pace with companions and leave space before the next appointment. Allow a separate walk in Peace Memorial Park and time after reading the displays.
Prepare the required early or late online reservation
Online reservations are required for 07:30–08:30. Permanent-exhibition entry from 17:30 in March–July and September–November, or from 16:30 in December–February, also requires a reservation; last entry is 30 minutes before closing. August has different late-entry periods. Check the official ticket instructions for the date and period; a regular-period ticket does not provide access to reservation-only periods. Online-ticket holders may still wait when crowded.
Plan transport from Hiroshima Station and parking
The official access guide lists buses, sightseeing-loop buses and trams from Hiroshima Station. The museum and Peace Memorial Park have no general private-car parking. Check the onward journey from paid parking. Municipal Central Parking is in Motomachi, requiring a separate journey to the museum.
Prepare for a day with large luggage
Visitors are asked to avoid taking large luggage into the exhibition, and coin lockers are provided on the East Building’s first floor. Account for size and availability, with another plan such as leaving luggage at accommodation. Read quietly and follow the museum’s visitor rules for photography and other activities.
Connect with a station stay and Hatchobori meal
For a stay at Hotel Granvia Hiroshima, check the route from the station’s north side into the city. For Micchan Sohonten Hatchobori Main Shop, allow a journey to Hatchobori and compare lunch and dinner hours after allowing sufficient museum time.
