胡麻とくるみのたれで焼く五平餅

あまからは、五平餅を専門に扱う店です。ごま、砂糖、醤油、くるみを合わせた秘伝のたれを塗り、香ばしく焼き上げます。民芸調の店内で食事ができるほか、たれは野菜や豆腐田楽などにも使える商品として販売されています。

一人前や定食、持ち帰りの品

五平餅は一人前五串・漬物付きで600円、五平餅定食は950円です。焼く前の白生地は一串90円、くるみ入りの万能たれは230g入り600円で販売。12～4月は味噌おでんも期間限定で用意されています。

本店の営業時間は9時30分～18時30分、定休日は毎週月曜日です。月曜日が祝日の場合は翌日が休みです。

This is the main store of Amakara, a specialist in gohei-mochi near Ena Station. Its rice cakes are grilled with a soy-based sauce enriched with sesame and walnut, and served in a folk-craft-inspired dining room. Sauce and plain rice cakes are also sold to take home or ship.

Gohei-mochi grilled with sesame and walnut sauce

Amakara specializes in gohei-mochi, grilled rice cakes coated with a signature sauce made from sesame, sugar, soy sauce and walnut. Guests can eat in the folk-craft-inspired dining room, and the sauce is also sold for use with vegetables, dengaku tofu and other dishes.

A serving, set meal and take-home products

A serving of five gohei-mochi skewers with pickles is ¥600, and the set meal is ¥950. Plain rice-cake skewers before grilling are ¥90 each; a 230 g pack of walnut sauce is ¥600. Miso oden is also available as a seasonal item from December through April.

The main store is open 09:30–18:30 and closes every Monday. When Monday is a public holiday, it closes the following day.
