猿沢池から奈良町へ歩く途中、柿の葉ずしの食事や持ち帰りを選べる平宗 奈良店。本館と、その南側の「はなれ」があり、取り扱うメニューと販売・飲食の時間が異なります。郷土料理を座って味わう予定と、土産を買って次へ向かう予定を、それぞれの窓口に合わせて組めます。

柿の葉ずしと、食べたい料理で建物を選ぶ
本館のお品書きには柿の葉ずし盛り合わせ、茶粥・柿の葉膳、三輪素麺を使う煮麺膳などがあります。はなれには和膳や天丼などの昼食と、夜の寿司・天ぷらを含むコースの案内があり、メニューは共通ではありません。2026年9月1日から食事メニューも価格変更との告知があるため、当日の内容と料金を確かめて注文してください。
販売時間と、飲食の注文締切を分ける
本館の10:00～20:30は販売時間です。はなれは飲食11:30から20:00ラストオーダー、販売は11:30～15:00の案内です。飲食の閉店時刻と注文締切を同じものとして予定を立てず、食べ終えて移動する時間を取ってください。本館で食事を希望する場合は、販売時間とは別に利用日の飲食時間を確認できます。
昼の提供時間と、予約条件を確かめる
本館の煮麺膳、まほろば、茶粥・柿の葉膳は、公式お品書きでは14:30までのメニューです。一般のお客様のランチ予約は10名以上で受ける案内ですが、食事全体を予約必須とは説明していません。夜は要予約の料理もあるため、希望する建物・料理・人数を伝えて確認してください。定休日以外の休みや季節変更も公式カレンダーで照合できます。
持ち帰りと、駅・駐車場へ戻る予定を組む
土産として購入する日は本館の販売時間を使い、商品の組み合わせや受け取り方を選べます。食べる日までの保存方法と期限は購入する商品の表示で確認してください。店舗に専用駐車場はありません。県営登大路駐車場などから歩く場合は、荷物を持って戻る距離と当日の駐車料金も合わせて考えられます。
東大寺の参拝と、JR駅の滞在につなげる
東大寺の参拝と合わせる日は、各堂の拝観時間と食事の提供時間を先に照合できます。JR奈良駅西口のホテル日航奈良へ戻る予定も、徒歩や列車の時刻に合わせて組めます。近鉄奈良駅とJR奈良駅は別の駅なので、帰りの駅名を確かめてください。
On a walk from Sarusawa Pond into Naramachi, stop at Hiraso Nara for kakinoha-zushi meals or takeaway. The main building and Hanare to its south have different menus and sales or dining hours. Choose the appropriate location for a meal or a purchase.

Choose the building for kakinoha-zushi and other dishes
The main-building menu includes kakinoha-zushi assortments, tea-rice porridge sets and Miwa-somen noodle sets. Hanare lists lunch meals and evening sushi-and-tempura courses. Menus differ. A September 1, 2026 price-change notice also covers meals; confirm current dishes and prices.
Separate shop hours from dining last orders
The main building’s 10:00–20:30 refers to sales. Hanare dining starts 11:30, with 20:00 last orders; sales run 11:30–15:00. Allow time to eat and continue the journey. For main-building dining, check service hours separately from shop hours.
Check lunch deadlines and reservation conditions
The main-building noodle, Mahoroba and tea-porridge sets are listed until 14:30. Ordinary lunch reservations are accepted for parties of ten or more; this does not make all dining reservation-only. Some evening dishes require booking. Confirm the building, dish, party size and calendar.
Plan takeaway and the return to the station or car
Use main-building sales hours for souvenir purchases and check the selected product’s storage instructions and expiry label. There is no dedicated parking. If walking from Noborioji Parking, plan the return with purchases and check the day’s tariff.
Connect Todaiji worship with a JR-station stay
Todaiji’s venue hours can be matched with meal service. Plan a return to Hotel Nikko Nara by JR Nara’s west exit around walking and train times. Check the station name: JR and Kintetsu Nara are separate.
