盛田味の館｜醸造蔵でみそ料理と盛田昭夫の展示

盛田味の館は、小鈴谷の醸造文化を、食事と展示で紹介する施設です。180年以上前の蔵を改装した空間で、豆みそを使う料理や、清酒ねのひ、醤油などの商品に出会えます。館内の盛田昭夫常設展も同じ施設の一部として見学できます。

豆みそとだしを味わうみそ煮込みうどん

名物のみそ煮込みうどんは、豆みそを生かした料理です。八丁味噌とだしを合わせ、土鍋で煮込むうどんを味わえます。醸造蔵を改装した建物で食べることで、展示で知った調味料の風味を食事につなげられます。飲食代は無料の入館とは別です。

醸造の映像、調味料と清酒ねのひ

館内では酒やみそづくりの工程を映像で紹介し、清酒ねのひや盛田の調味料、味の館オリジナル商品を販売しています。大きな蔵の空間や醸造道具を見ながら、買い物もできます。料理、展示、売店を同じ建物で回れるため、南部のドライブの休憩と食事を組み合わせられます。

盛田昭夫常設展と10月以降の営業変更

15代当主でソニー創業者の盛田昭夫を紹介する常設展があり、写真や映像から人物像に触れられます。通常10～16時、火水休みですが、2026年10月24日は夜の貸切行事のため10～15時に短縮。11月19日、12月24日・31日も追加休業の案内があります。定休日だけでなく、この日程も外して訪問を計画できます。

小鈴谷の南部エリアへバスまたは車で

所在地は小鈴谷字脇浜10。地域バスのグルーンは「盛田味の館口」下車すぐの案内で、車は武豊ICから約5分、駐車場があります。常滑駅周辺の散歩道とは地域が離れるため、徒歩の寄り道として続けず、バスや車の移動時間を取って南部へ向かえます。

常滑市の観光・宿泊・食事と駐車を組み合わせる

市内の展示見学にはとこなめ陶の森、駅周辺の宿泊にはスプリングサニーホテル名古屋常滑を組み合わせられます。鉄道を使う前後の時間貸駐車は名鉄協商常滑駅前第2も候補です。小鈴谷は駅周辺から離れるため、南部と市街のバス・車移動を分け、16時終了や臨時休業日に合わせて巡れます。

Morita Aji no Yakata introduces Kosugaya’s brewing culture through food and exhibits. Its converted storehouse, originally built more than 180 years ago, offers bean-miso cooking alongside Nenohi sake, soy sauce and other products. The permanent Akio Morita exhibition is part of the same facility.

Miso-nikomi udon with bean miso and broth

The signature miso-nikomi udon highlights bean miso. Udon is simmered in an earthenware pot with Hatcho miso and broth. Eating in the converted brewing storehouse connects the seasonings introduced in the exhibits with their flavours at the table. Meals are charged separately from free admission.

Brewing films, seasonings and Nenohi sake

Films introduce sake and miso production, while the shop sells Nenohi sake, Morita seasonings and products exclusive to the venue. Visitors can browse amid the storehouse’s large interior and brewing-related displays. Dining, exhibitions and shopping share one building, making a combined meal and sightseeing stop on a drive through southern Tokoname.

Akio Morita exhibits and autumn opening changes

A permanent exhibition introduces Akio Morita, Sony co-founder and fifteenth-generation family head, through photographs and films. Normal hours are 10:00–16:00, closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. October 24, 2026 is shortened to 10:00–15:00 for a private evening event. Additional closures are announced for November 19 and December 24 and 31; account for these as well as regular closing days.

Reach southern Kosugaya by bus or car

The address is 10 Wakihama, Kosugaya. Local Grüün buses stop immediately nearby at Morita Aji no Yakata-guchi. By car, the venue is around five minutes from Taketoyo IC, with parking available. It lies away from the Pottery Footpath around Tokoname Station, so allow a bus or car journey between the two areas.

Combine Tokoname sights, stays, dining and parking

Combine city exhibitions at Tounomori with a station-area stay at Spring Sunny Hotel Nagoya Tokoname; Meitetsu Kyosho Tokoname Station No. 2 is an option around rail journeys. Kosugaya lies away from the station district, so allow separate bus or car travel between the south and centre around the 16:00 closing and additional closure dates.
