中尊寺第一駐車場｜普通車400円、月見坂から参拝する拠点

中尊寺第一駐車場は、月見坂を上って参拝する際の町営駐車場です。本堂のすぐ横ではなく、駐車後に坂道を歩きます。拝観の時間に加えて往復の徒歩時間を組み込みます。

車種ごとの駐車料金

普通・軽自動車400円、自動二輪50円、マイクロバス800円、大型車950円です。料金は1回1台ごとで、営業時間内の駐車時間に制限はありません。

冬季の終了時刻

年中無休で8時30分から営業します。3～11月は17時まで、12～2月は16時30分までです。寺院の冬時間は11月4日に始まるため、駐車場と拝観施設の終了時刻を分けて考えます。

月見坂を歩いて本堂へ

本堂まで約850mあり、表参道の月見坂を通ります。歩く距離を短くしたい場合は、本堂まで約240mの坂の上駐車場も選択肢です。寺院内の見学時間も含めて余裕を取ります。

減免と第二駐車場

身体障害者手帳を料金所で提示すると駐車料金が無料になります。近隣の第二駐車場も普通車400円ですが、12～3月は不定期の休みがあります。

Municipal car park 1 serves visitors taking the Tsukimizaka approach to Chuson-ji. It is below the temple rather than beside the main hall, so allow time to walk uphill and back as well as visit the sights.

Charges by vehicle class

Cars and kei cars cost ¥400, motorcycles ¥50, minibuses ¥800 and large vehicles ¥950 per vehicle per visit. Parking duration is unrestricted within operating hours.

Winter closing time

The car park opens at 08:30 year-round. It closes at 17:00 March–November and 16:30 December–February. Temple winter hours begin earlier, on November 4, so plan separately for parking and admission closing times.

Walking up Tsukimizaka

The main hall is about 850 m away via Tsukimizaka, the main approach. Sakanoue parking, about 240 m from the hall, is another option for a shorter walk. Leave enough time for the temple visit itself.

Concessions and car park 2

Parking is free on presentation of a physical-disability certificate at the booth. Nearby car park 2 also charges ¥400 for cars, but has irregular closures from December through March.
