熊本城の二の丸側に車を置き、城の見学へ向かう二の丸駐車場。普通車の料金は2026年4月に改定され、秋の催し期間は通常より遅くまで営業しています。入園の締切と駐車場の最終入庫は別なので、車を置く時刻と見学後に戻る時刻を合わせてください。

2026年4月からの時間料金を使う
普通車は2時間まで400円、その後1時間ごと200円です。二輪車は2時間まで100円、その後1時間ごと50円。古い案内に残る普通車2時間200円とは料金が異なるため、2026年4月1日以降の条件で計画してください。車を置いて城外へも出かける場合は、駐車場へ戻る時間まで含めて計算できます。
秋の延長と、夏・通常期の最終入庫を分ける
2026年10月2日～11月1日は8時～21時30分、最終入庫20時30分です。通常は9月～翌6月が18時30分閉場・最終入庫17時30分、7・8月が20時30分閉場・最終入庫19時30分で、開場はいずれも8時。夜間延長が終わった後も同じ時刻で使えるとは考えず、訪問日の営業時間を確認してください。
車の長さと、利用できる車種を確認する
5mを超える普通車と準中型自動車は、二の丸駐車場を利用できません。公式は三の丸第一駐車場のバス区画へ案内し、その場合は普通車料金としています。二の丸は普通車210台・二輪車10台程度で、観光バス用の台数はありません。背の高い車や特殊な装備がある車も、入口の車両条件を確認してください。
城の入園と、無料シャトルの時間を合わせる
駐車場に入れた時刻に、熊本城へ入園できるとは限りません。秋の城の最終入園は20時で、駐車場の最終入庫20時30分より早い案内です。城彩苑・南口前・二の丸駐車場を結ぶ無料シャトルは9時～17時、10～15分間隔の案内なので、夜はその運行を前提にせず歩く経路を確認してください。
中心部の宿泊と食事は、別の駐車条件で考える
ホテル日航熊本の宿泊駐車は外部提携先での優待で、二の丸駐車場とは別です。下通の菅乃屋 銀座通り店には専用・提携駐車場がありません。食事へ移動してから車へ戻る日は、閉場までの移動を含め、観光と夕食の順番を選んでください。

Use the tariff introduced in April 2026
Cars pay ¥400 for up to two hours, then ¥200 per hour. Motorcycles pay ¥100 for two hours, then ¥50 per hour. Plan with the April 1, 2026 tariff; older ¥200 car rates are outdated. Include the return journey if continuing beyond the castle.
Separate autumn, summer and ordinary entry deadlines
October 2–November 1, 2026 operates 08:00–21:30, last entry 20:30. Usual September–June closing is 18:30, last entry 17:30; July–August closing 20:30, last entry 19:30. Both open at 08:00. Check the date instead of extending festival hours into later visits.
Check vehicle length and permitted types
Cars longer than 5m and Japan’s semi-medium vehicle class cannot use Ninomaru. The official guide directs them to Sannomaru No. 1’s bus bays at the car tariff. Ninomaru lists 210 cars and about ten motorcycles, with no bus capacity. Check entrance conditions for unusually tall or equipped vehicles.
Coordinate castle admission and free-shuttle hours
Parking admission does not guarantee entry to Kumamoto Castle. Autumn castle entry ends at 20:00, before parking’s 20:30 deadline. The free shuttle linking Josaien, the south-entrance area and Ninomaru lists 09:00–17:00 at ten- to fifteen-minute intervals. Check an evening walking route without relying on it.
Plan central stays and meals with their own parking conditions
Hotel Nikko Kumamoto validates separate external partners; Ninomaru is not one of them. Shimotori’s Suganoya Ginzadori has no dedicated or partner parking. Choose the order of sightseeing and dinner with the return before this lot closes.
