Choose the Baba-machi parking base and your walking destinations

The city’s February 2026 guide lists 128 ordinary-car spaces at 2-115 Baba-machi. Jinya’s access guide estimates about 15 minutes on foot to Jinya. Include the return walk when choosing this base, and check vehicle suitability, entrance signs and current availability before entering.

Budget in half-hour daytime and hourly night-time units

Ordinary cars cost ¥150 per started 30 minutes during 08:00–20:00 and ¥50 per started hour during 20:00–08:00. Night parking is charged too; check both periods when crossing a tariff boundary. Lunch alone or a longer town-and-Jinya visit needs different parking time. The city facility guide lists no maximum charge, so ask the operator about long stays and boundary-time calculations.

Distinguish round-the-clock access from parking permits

The car park operates around the clock. The listed ¥6,810 all-day and ¥4,190 night-time prices are for parking permits, not daily visitor caps. The night permit covers 18:00–08:00, differing from the ordinary-car hourly tariff boundary. Use the ordinary-car time charges for sightseeing, and ask the operator about multi-day stays or permits.

The city lists full parking-charge exemption when a driver or passenger holds a physical, mental or intellectual disability certificate, or uses a wheelchair.
