松本城｜天守の階段と日時指定券、城下町を歩くための観覧案内

堀越しの天守を眺める時間と、木造の天守内を見学する時間を分けて楽しむ松本城。内部は急な階段を登るため、歩ける範囲に合わせて予定を選べます。松本駅から城下町へ向かう日は、入場券の種類と黒門の位置を確認して出発してください。

電子券と当日券を、予定に合わせて選ぶ

一般の電子券は日時指定で1,200円、窓口の当日紙券は1,300円です。電子券は購入後のキャンセル・内容変更ができない案内なので、列車の到着や食事の予定を決めてから購入条件を確認してください。小・中学生はどちらも400円、未就学児は無料です。

黒門から入り、急な階段に備える

有料区域への入口は黒門です。赤い埋橋側からは入場できません。天守内は狭く急な階段で、最大斜度は約61度、エレベーターはありません。脱いだ靴を袋に入れて携行し、階段付近では撮影を控える案内です。足元と手荷物を整えて見学してください。

待ち時間と、季節の開場変更を入れる

天守内の平均観覧時間は約45～60分で、混雑時の入場待ちは別に必要です。年末の12月29～31日は休場、正月三が日は10時～15時30分・最終入城15時の案内です。連休や夏の延長期間は年ごとの日付を確認してください。2026年8月24日～10月31日は外壁等のメンテナンス予定があり、天守内は通常観覧できる一方、月見櫓の一部は入場できず、外周の一部に足場やテントがある案内です。期間は天候で変わります。

駅から歩くか、城周辺に車を置く

松本駅から徒歩約20分の案内です。街を眺めながら歩く日は、見学後に駅へ戻る時間も取れます。車なら松本城大手門駐車場から城まで徒歩約8分。駐車場の終了時刻と天守の入場時刻はそれぞれ確認してください。

城下町の宿と、駅でのそばを合わせる

松本ホテル花月は城からの街歩きと組み合わせられる宿です。列車の前後に食事を取る方には、駅のMIDORI1階にある榑木野松本駅舎店の案内があります。天守の見学を先にするか、荷物を置いてから出るかを到着時刻に合わせて選べます。

Enjoy the keep across the moat, then decide whether to climb through its wooden interior. Plan the visit around the stairs you can comfortably manage. For a walk from Matsumoto Station into the castle town, check the ticket type and Kuromon entrance before setting out.

Choose a ticket that fits the itinerary

Adult timed e-tickets cost ¥1,200; same-day paper tickets at the counter cost ¥1,300. Electronic purchases cannot be cancelled or changed. Fit the entry time around train arrival and meals before choosing a ticket. Schoolchildren pay ¥400 with either type; preschoolers enter free.

Enter through Kuromon and prepare for the stairs

Use Kuromon; the red Uzumibashi side is closed to entry. Narrow stairs reach a maximum slope of about 61 degrees, with no elevator. Carry removed shoes in the supplied bag; photography is prohibited near stairs. Arrange footwear and bags before climbing.

Allow for queues and seasonal hours

An interior visit averages 45–60 minutes, plus any queue. The castle closes December 29–31; January 1–3 lists 10:00–15:30, last entry 15:00. Check each year’s extended-hour dates. Maintenance is scheduled August 24–October 31, 2026, weather permitting: keep admission continues, part of Tsukimi-yagura is restricted, and scaffolding or tents cover some exterior areas.

Walk from the station or park near the castle

The station walk is listed at about 20 minutes. Allow another walk back after sightseeing. By car, Otemon Parking is about eight minutes from the castle. Check parking access and castle entry hours separately.

Connect a castle-town stay with station soba

Consider Matsumoto Hotel Kagetsu for a castle-town stay, or Kurekino in MIDORI’s first floor around a train journey. Decide whether to visit first or arrange luggage before the walk, according to arrival time.
