大矢田神社・もみじ谷｜重要文化財の社殿と楓、11月22日のひんここの舞

大矢田神社は、社殿の彫刻や楼門と、谷を彩るモミジをあわせて楽しめる神社です。新緑や紅葉で景色が変わり、秋は五穀豊穣を祈る人形劇「ひんここの舞」も行われます。参拝、季節の行事、駐車の条件を訪問日に合わせて組み合わせられます。

Oyada Shrine combines decorated shrine buildings and a gate with maple woodland. The scenery changes from fresh leaves to autumn colour; the Hinkoko no Mai puppet ritual prays for abundant harvests. Organise worship, seasonal performances and parking around the date of your visit.

社殿と楼門、国天然記念物のモミジ

本殿は1672年、拝殿は1671年に再建され、ともに国の重要文化財です。楼門は1723年再建の市指定文化財。神社一帯にはヤマモミジなど約3000本の自然林があり、「楓谷のヤマモミジ樹林」は国の天然記念物です。建物の意匠と、季節に応じて色を変える木々を見ながら参拝できます。

11月22日に予定されるひんここの舞

五穀豊穣を祈る人形劇「ひんここの舞」は、2026年11月22日に大矢田神社で予定されています。11時と14時から各約30分、観覧無料です。当日の駐車案内は自家用車500円、バス2000円、バイク200円。参拝に合わせて見る日は、演舞の開始時刻と駐車後の移動時間を含めて到着を組めます。

紅葉期の駐車と御朱印受付

紅葉の見ごろは例年11月中旬～12月上旬で、色づきの時期は天候により変わります。紅葉期は駐車が有料です。社務所は紅葉期・ゴールデンウィーク以外には開いていない案内で、御朱印は本美濃紙やもみじ入りの手すき和紙などの書置きもあります。通常の参拝と、社務所での受付を利用する日は分けて計画できます。

バス停から徒歩30分、美濃ICから車10分

岐阜バス高美線の大矢田神社前で下車し、境内方面へ徒歩約30分です。車は美濃ICから県道94号経由で約10分。町並みの市街地散策とは別に移動する目的地です。社殿の見学や紅葉を眺める時間を取り、ひんここの舞を見る日は11時・14時の演舞に合わせて回れます。

観光・食事と市内の移動を組み合わせる

大矢田の参拝に、立花での宿泊と市街の昼そばを組み合わせられます。各地区へ車で移動し、まる伍の売切れ終了や火曜休みに合わせます。11月22日は神社Pが自家用車500円。湯本館で石の湯を利用するプランは16時30分までの到着を見込みます。

Shrine buildings, gate and protected maples

The main hall was rebuilt in 1672 and the worship hall in 1671; both are national Important Cultural Properties. The 1723 gate is a city cultural property. Around three thousand maples form natural woodland, including the nationally protected Kaededani maple grove. View architectural details alongside the changing foliage.

Hinkoko no Mai planned for November 22

The harvest-prayer puppet performance Hinkoko no Mai is planned at the shrine on November 22, 2026. Performances begin at 11:00 and 14:00, last about thirty minutes each and are free to watch. Parking that day is ¥500 for cars, ¥2,000 for buses and ¥200 for motorcycles. Allow time after parking before the performance starts.

Autumn parking and goshuin availability

Autumn colour is usually best from mid-November to early December, varying with weather, and parking is charged during the leaf season. The shrine office is generally closed outside the maple season and Golden Week. Available goshuin include prepared sheets of Hon-minoshi and handmade paper incorporating maple leaves. Plan an office visit within its seasonal opening rather than assuming daily service.

Thirty minutes from the bus stop or ten by car from Mino IC

From Oyada Jinja-mae on Gifu Bus’s Takami Line, allow about thirty minutes on foot toward the shrine. Drive about ten minutes from Mino IC via Prefectural Route 94. This is a separate journey from the town’s historic district. Allow time for the buildings and foliage, and fit a performance-day visit around 11:00 or 14:00.

Combine sights, meals and local travel

Combine Oyada worship, a Tachibana stay and town-centre soba, driving between districts around Marugo’s sell-outs and Tuesday closure. Shrine parking for cars is ¥500 on November 22. Arrive by 16:30 when booking Yumotokan’s stone-sauna option.
