Hotel Biwalake Otsuka stands on the Omi-Maiko shore. Rooms face either Lake Biwa or the Hira mountains and the Kanga-no-Niwa Japanese garden, offering different scenery within the same hotel. Its walkable station access combines with kaiseki meals, communal baths and two private baths.

湖側と山側で景色を選ぶ
琵琶湖側には和室・洋室・和洋室があり、レイクビューとマッサージチェアを備えています。比良山側の洋室からは山と庭園を望めます。和室は10畳、湖側洋室は40㎡、山側洋室は24㎡、和洋室は57㎡。全28室が禁煙で、バスとシャワートイレを備えています。和洋室は段差のない造りです。
ラジウム鉱石の湯と二つの貸切風呂
大浴場はラジウム鉱石の湯で、15時～翌10時30分は夜通し利用でき、サウナは15～23時です。貸切風呂「雄松の湯」「舞子の湯」は無料で、15～23時と6～10時に内鍵を掛けて利用します。事前予約は受け付けていません。大浴場にタオルは置いていないため、客室のものを持って向かいます。
会席の夕食と和定食の朝食
季節の会席や認証近江牛を使う会席など、食事内容による宿泊プランがあります。朝食は和定食で、7時30分・8時・8時30分の開始枠です。館内の食事提供は宿泊者が対象で、外来のレストラン利用は行っていません。庭園の散策と食事、入浴を宿の中で組み合わせる過ごし方ができます。
近江舞子駅から歩く湖畔の宿

Choose the lake or mountain view
Lake-facing Japanese, Western and combined rooms have lake views and massage chairs. Mountain-side Western rooms overlook the Hira range and garden. Japanese rooms are ten tatami; lake-side Western rooms 40 m², mountain-side Western rooms 24 m² and combined rooms 57 m². All twenty-eight are non-smoking with baths and washlet toilets; combined rooms have a step-free layout.
Mineral bathing and two private baths
Communal baths use radium mineral stones and remain open overnight from 15:00 until 10:30; saunas operate 15:00–23:00. The Omatsu-no-Yu and Maiko-no-Yu private baths are free, open 15:00–23:00 and 06:00–10:00, and lock from inside. They cannot be booked in advance. Take towels from the room, as none are supplied in the communal bath area.
Kaiseki dinner and Japanese breakfast
Stay plans include seasonal kaiseki and certified Omi beef kaiseki. Japanese set breakfasts start at 07:30, 08:00 or 08:30. On-site meals are for overnight guests, with no restaurant service for outside diners. A stay can combine garden walks, meals and bathing within the property.
A lakeside hotel within walking distance of the station
The hotel is around five minutes on foot from JR Omi-Maiko Station on the Kosei Line. Thirty-five free parking spaces for hotel guests require no reservation, and EV charging is available. Check-in is 15:00 and checkout 11:00. Free Wi-Fi covers the property and credit cards are accepted. Pets cannot stay.
