うなぎと卵を重ねる、きんし丼を選ぶ
かねよのきんし丼は、うなぎとご飯の上に卵3個を使っただし巻きを重ねる料理です。公式のお品書きでは、店内税込10%のきんし丼3,190円、上きんし丼3,520円、特きんし重3,850円を掲載しています。卵とうなぎ、ご飯の組合せを中心に、量や付く料理を注文時に確かめて選べます。
レストランと本店の料金・予約を分ける
レストランは予約を受け付けず、全席禁煙です。本店は電話077-524-2222でのみ予約を受け、メール・FAXでは受け付けない2026年10月12日の案内があります。お品書きのサービス料10%は本店のみで、レストランの店内価格とは条件が違います。持帰り税込8%の欄も別にあるため、店内で食べる価格を選んで確認してください。
11～20時の案内に、中休みと定休日を合わせる
通常営業時間は11時～20時ですが、当面は本店・レストランとも14時～17時に中休みを取る場合があり、店舗状況で営業時間や注文内容が変わる案内です。レストランの定休日は火曜、本店は木曜で、月1回の不定休もあります。希望日の営業と受付を電話で照合してください。「うすき鍋」は当面提供中止の案内があるため、通常メニューに必ずある料理として予定に入れないでください。
大谷駅から向かい、浜大津とは別移動にする
公式アクセスは京阪京津線「大谷駅」下車すぐで、JR山科駅から京阪へ乗り換える経路を案内しています。車では京都東IC・大津ICから国道1号へ。住所は大津市大谷町で、湖岸の浜大津地区とは別の場所です。普通車50台と大型バスの駐車案内があり、駐車場所や大型車の受入れは来店予定と合わせて店舗へ確認できます。
三井寺の受付と、湖岸の滞在へつなぐ
参拝する三井寺（園城寺）は16時受付終了です。食事の中休みと合わせ、寺から大谷へ移動する順番を決められます。湖岸の琵琶湖ホテルに泊まる場合は到着と温泉の点検時間も照合してください。大津市浜大津公共駐車場の鉄道優待は指定乗車券の購入・手続きが条件なので、単に大谷駅へ乗るだけで500円になるとはされていません。

Choose a kinshi bowl layered with eel and egg
Kaneyo’s kinshi-don layers rolled egg made with three eggs over eel and rice. The official menu lists dine-in prices including 10% tax: kinshi-don ¥3,190, upper-grade kinshi-don ¥3,520 and special kinshi-ju ¥3,850. Check the portion and accompanying dishes when choosing the eel, egg and rice combination.
Separate restaurant prices and reservations from main-branch terms
The restaurant takes no reservations and is entirely non-smoking. An October 12, 2026 notice says main-branch bookings are by phone only at 077-524-2222, without email or fax. The menu’s 10% service charge applies only to the main branch. It also lists separate takeaway prices at 8% tax; select the dine-in price for restaurant meals.
Combine listed 11:00–20:00 hours with breaks and closures
Regular hours are 11:00–20:00, but both dining areas may take a 14:00–17:00 break; hours and orders may change with operating conditions. The restaurant closes Tuesdays, the main branch Thursdays, with an additional irregular monthly closure. Confirm the date and reception by phone. Usuki-nabe is currently listed as suspended, so check available dishes when planning a meal.
Approach from Otani Station as a separate trip from Hamaotsu
Official directions place the store by Keihan Keishin Line’s Otani Station, with a transfer from JR Yamashina to Keihan. Drivers approach via Route 1 from Kyoto-higashi or Otsu interchanges. Otani-cho is separate from lakeside Hamaotsu. The store lists parking for 50 ordinary cars and bus arrangements; confirm the parking area and larger-vehicle admission for the visit.
Coordinate Miidera reception with lakeside lodging
Reception at Miidera (Onjoji) ends at 16:00. Coordinate the trip to Otani with possible restaurant breaks. For a stay at lakeside Biwako Hotel, check arrival and bath maintenance times. The discount at Otsu Municipal Hamaotsu Public Parking requires eligible tickets and a purchase procedure; an ordinary journey to Otani alone does not establish ¥500 parking eligibility.
