仙巌園｜桜島を望む庭園と御殿・尚古集成館、入場券と施設別の時間

桜島と錦江湾を庭の景色に取り込んだ仙巌園で、島津家の暮らしと産業の歩みをたどる散策。庭園だけでなく、御殿と尚古集成館を同じ入場券で見学できます。屋外の眺め、室内の装飾、博物館の展示を組み合わせ、各施設の締切と休みを確かめて回ってください。

庭の眺めと、御殿・博物館を見比べる

仙巌園は1658年に島津光久が築いた別邸です。桜島や湾を背景にした庭を見たあと、御殿の装飾と建物からの眺めへ進むと、屋内外の景色を比べられます。尚古集成館は旧集成館機械工場の建物を使う博物館。島津家の歴史や文化の展示を合わせ、庭園で過ごす時間と展示を見る時間を分けて組めます。

1枚の券で見る範囲と、学生の料金を確認する

一般は15歳以上でも中高生を除く区分で1,600円、小・中学生・高校生は800円（税込）です。御殿と尚古集成館を含む入場券のみを販売し、それぞれだけの券はありません。園内の飲食店・売店や猫神社だけを使う場合も入場料が必要です。未就学児は無料の案内があり、団体や手帳・パスの割引は対象と提示条件を確認してください。

16時30分の入園と、施設ごとの見学条件を合わせる

園の最終入場は16時30分、御殿の最終入場は16時50分で、閉園は17時です。御殿はメンテナンスによる臨時休場や、荒天時に雨戸を閉める場合があります。薩摩切子工場は別の休みがあり、2026年10月18・19・26日は工場見学不可。10月13日は成形工程のみ、14日は加工工程のみ見学可能という案内なので、工場を加える日は工程まで確認してください。

仙巌園駅に停まる列車と、磯への交通を選ぶ

日豊本線の仙巌園駅から各施設へ歩いて向かえますが、停車しない列車もあります。鹿児島中央駅などから利用する日の停車駅を確認してください。カゴシマシティビューは「仙巌園（磯庭園）前」などで下車する案内です。仙巌園の普通車駐車は1日500円で、入場料とは別。鉄道・バス・車を、到着時刻と歩く予定に合わせて選べます。

磯の見学から、城山の滞在と天文館へつなぐ

磯の仙巌園から、高台のSHIROYAMA HOTEL kagoshima、中心部の天文館むじゃき本店へは移動を予定に加えてください。天文館周辺で車を置くセラ602は仙巌園の駐車場とは別施設です。白熊の注文締切やホテルの入室時間を合わせて、庭園の後の行き先を選べます。

Walk through Sengan-en’s garden, which incorporates Sakurajima and Kinko Bay, while exploring Shimadzu family life and industrial history. One admission ticket includes the residence and Shoko Shuseikan Museum. Combine landscape views, interior decoration and exhibits, checking each facility’s deadlines and closures.

Compare garden views with the residence and museum

Shimadzu Mitsuhisa established Sengan-en as a residence in 1658. Compare the garden’s island-and-bay setting with decoration and views from the house. Shoko Shuseikan Museum occupies the former machinery factory and presents family history and culture. Plan outdoor and exhibition time separately.

Check combined coverage and school-student prices

General admission is ¥1,600 for visitors aged 15 or older excluding secondary-school students; elementary through high-school students pay ¥800 including tax. Only the combined garden, residence and museum ticket is sold. Admission also applies to visits solely for garden shops, dining or the cat shrine. Preschool children enter free; check group and pass eligibility.

Match 16:30 garden entry with individual facility conditions

Last garden entry is 16:30 and residence entry 16:50, before 17:00 closure. Maintenance can close the residence; bad weather may require shutters. The Satsuma glass factory closes for viewing on October 18, 19 and 26, 2026. October 13 allows forming only; October 14 allows finishing only. Check processes if adding the factory.

Choose a stopping train or bus to the Iso area

Facilities are walkable from Sengan-en Station on the Nippo Main Line, but some trains do not stop there. Check the selected service. Kagoshima City View buses use Sengan-en (Iso Teien) Mae and nearby stops. Garden car parking lists ¥500 per day, separately from admission. Match transport with arrival and walking plans.

Continue from Iso to a Shiroyama stay and Tenmonkan

Allow onward travel from Iso to hilltop SHIROYAMA HOTEL kagoshima and central Tenmonkan Mujaki Main Store. Sera 602 serves the Tenmonkan area and is separate from garden parking. Match the next stop with dessert last orders or room access.
