Yumotokan is a ryokan in Ogoto Onsen on Lake Biwa’s western shore. Stay for rooftop open-air bathing and communal baths facing the lake or mountains. Japanese and Japanese-Western rooms, including rooms with private hot-spring baths, offer different arrangements; meals and dedicated lounge access depend on the room and plan.

日替わりで巡る四つの浴場
露天「月心の湯」と「湯幻逍遥」は日替わりで男女が入れ替わり、互いに逆の割り当てです。月心の湯では最上階から琵琶湖の景色を望み、湯幻逍遥では寝湯などの異なる湯船を巡れます。どちらも内風呂はありません。眺望大浴場「湖望の湯」と「山望の湯」も日替わりで男女が入れ替わります。
貸切風呂と温泉付き客室
二つの貸切露天風呂は一回50分7,000円（税込）で、宿泊・昼食・夕食プランの利用者が対象です。客室は、月心亭の温泉檜風呂付き和室、露天風呂付き客室、和洋室などから選べます。はなれ葭蘆葦は専用ラウンジと温泉露天風呂付き客室の区分で、館全体のすべての予約に同じ設備が付くわけではありません。
宿泊時間と館内の段差
チェックイン15時、最終20時、チェックアウト10時で、客室は全室禁煙です。館内はバリアフリーの宿ではなく、場所によって段差があります。部屋や浴場を選ぶ際には、建物内での移動も滞在条件の一つです。専用露天風呂や食事場所を重視する場合は、その内容を含む客室・宿泊プランで選べます。
宿泊者の駅送迎と無料駐車
無料駐車場は40台分です。宿泊者の迎えは13時30分～19時。JRおごと温泉駅は到着後の電話で東口ロータリー④番から、比叡山坂本駅は到着時刻の事前連絡で対応します。京阪坂本比叡山口駅とケーブル坂本駅は乗車前の電話が必要です。日帰り入浴だけの利用は送迎対象外です。

Baths with daily changes of use
The Gesshin-no-Yu and Yugen-shoyo open-air baths switch between men and women daily, with opposite allocations. The rooftop Gesshin-no-Yu looks over Lake Biwa; Yugen-shoyo includes varied bathing areas such as a reclining bath. Neither has an indoor bath. The scenic Kobo-no-Yu and Sanbo-no-Yu communal baths also alternate daily.
Private baths and rooms with hot springs
Two private open-air baths cost ¥7,000 including tax for fifty minutes and are available to accommodation or lunch/dinner-plan guests. Room categories include Gesshin building Japanese rooms with hot-spring hinoki baths, open-air-bath rooms and Japanese-Western rooms. Hanare Karoi has its own lounge and private-bath rooms; these benefits belong to the relevant category.
Stay times and steps within the property
Check-in begins at 15:00 and ends at 20:00; checkout is 10:00. All rooms are non-smoking. The ryokan is not barrier-free and has steps in some areas, making movement through the buildings relevant when choosing a room or bath. Private-bath and dining arrangements are specified by the room category and booking plan.
Station pickups and free parking
The hotel has forty free parking spaces. Accommodation pickups operate 13:30–19:00. At JR Ogoto-Onsen, call after arrival and wait at point 4 in the east rotary. Hieizan-Sakamoto requires the arrival time in advance; call before boarding for Keihan Sakamoto-hieizanguchi or Cable Sakamoto. Bath-only day visitors are not eligible for pickups.
