八王子の製麺所から届くそばとうどん

彩食庵は、自社製麺所から直送するそば・うどんに、熱い天ぷらやおひつご飯を組み合わせる食堂です。海老天付板そばは1,280円税込で、麺と揚げたての天ぷらをせいろに盛る一品。農産物を買いに来た人も、道中の昼食だけで立ち寄る人も利用できます。道の駅の販売商品を持ち帰る買い物とは別に、席で食事を取る時間を組めます。

880円の八王子ラーメン

八王子ラーメンは880円税込。特製ダレとラードの旨みを合わせたスープに刻み玉ねぎを添える、八王子らしい一杯です。そば・うどんとは異なる麺の選択肢となり、同行者が別の料理を選ぶ食事も組めます。道の駅内には他のカフェやアイス店もありますが、彩食庵の料理と各店の提供メニューはそれぞれ別の店として選べます。

食堂9時と直売所8時、18時の注文締切

食堂は9～19時、ラストオーダー18時、通常年中無休です。道の駅の農産物直売所は8～19時なので、早朝に到着しても同じ時刻に食事を注文できるわけではありません。カフェ滝山茶屋は9～19時・LO18時30分、アイス店も独自の時間と定休があります。食堂での遅い昼食や夕方の食事は、18時の締切を軸に買い物の順序を決められます。

八王子ICからの車とバス停からの徒歩

道の駅は滝山町1-592-2、八王子ICから国道16号を川越方面へ進み左入橋交差点を左折して約5分です。京王八王子から戸吹行きなどのバスで「道の駅八王子滝山入口」下車、徒歩3分。駐車場が混雑するときは第2駐車場を使う案内があります。入口に接する狭い市道を北へ通り抜けず、案内に沿って道の駅へ入り食堂へ歩けます。

八王子市内で組み合わせる訪問先

東京富士美術館、滝山の道の駅、駅周辺の宿は、市内をバスや車で移動して組み合わせる訪問先です。駅前に車を置いてバスへ乗る場合も、美術館の入館締切、道の駅の食事LO18時、駐車場の出庫時刻を一日の中でそろえられます。それぞれの施設へ車で向かう行程なら、見学と食事の後に次の場所へ移動する時間を取れます。

Saishokuan is the noodle and meal food court inside Michi-no-Eki Hachioji Takiyama, serving soba, udon, tempura and ramen. The produce market, cafe and ice-cream shop follow separate hours and closures. Combine a meal with local shopping on a driving stop or a bus-based visit.

Soba and udon from a Hachioji noodle works

Saishokuan combines soba/udon delivered from its own noodle works with hot tempura and rice meals. Shrimp-tempura board soba costs ¥1,280 tax included, with noodles and fresh-fried tempura arranged on a serving board. Visitors can eat alongside produce shopping or stop for lunch alone, allowing separate time for a seated meal and take-home purchases.

Hachioji ramen at ¥880

Hachioji ramen costs ¥880 tax included, combining seasoned broth and lard richness with chopped onion. It offers a different noodle option from soba or udon when companions prefer different meals. The station also has a cafe and ice-cream shop, each with its own menu separate from Saishokuan’s dishes.

Food service from 9:00 and an 18:00 order deadline

The food court runs 9:00–19:00, last orders 18:00, normally daily. The produce shop’s 8:00–19:00 schedule does not mean meals start at 8:00. Cafe Takiyamachaya runs 9:00–19:00/LO 18:30, while the ice-cream outlet has separate hours and closures. Arrange shopping around the 18:00 food deadline for a late lunch or early-evening meal.

Arrival from Hachioji IC or the bus stop

At 1-592-2 Takiyamamachi, directions from Hachioji IC take about five minutes via Route 16 towards Kawagoe and a left at Sanyu-bashi. From Keio Hachioji, a Tobuki-bound bus serves Michi-no-Eki Hachioji Takiyama-iriguchi, three minutes away on foot. A second parking area is available when busy. Follow the signed approach rather than driving north through the narrow local road beside the entrance.

Other stops to combine within Hachioji

Tokyo Fuji Art Museum, Takiyama’s roadside station and station-area accommodation combine through bus or car journeys across the city. If parking at the station and taking a bus, coordinate museum last admission, the food court’s18:00 order deadline and vehicle-access hours. If driving to each facility, allow onward travel time after exhibits and meals.
