ビッグシップ前立体駐車場は、米子コンベンションセンター向かい側の3階建駐車場です。「米子駅前簡易駐車場」とも呼ばれ、文化ホールやイオン米子駅前店と共用。催事参加者だけでなく一般の有料利用もでき、駅周辺で車を置く選択肢になります。

最初1時間無料と1000円の上限
最初の1時間までは無料です。その後の料金区分は8～22時が30分100円、22～翌8時が60分100円で、入場後24時間までの最大料金は1,000円です。昼の区切りは市営駅前地下の18時とは異なり、この駐車場では22時に夜間区分へ変わります。駅周辺の食事や催事など、数時間の滞在と日をまたぐ利用を、駐車する時刻と総時間から選べます。
催事会場内で行う駐車券の認証
ビッグシップの会議や催事に参加する人は、駐車券を会場内にある割引認証機へ通します。催し物の開催時間分が無料となる仕組みで、券の紛失、適正な認証がない場合、対象時間を超えた分は自己負担です。周辺の別駐車場P1～P5にはこの割引が適用されません。到着後に券を車へ残さず、参加する会場まで持参して認証を済ませると出庫が分かりやすくなります。
高さ2.1mと700台の共用駐車
収容は普通車700台で、高さ210センチ以内、自動二輪車は利用できません。米子市文化ホール・イオン米子駅前店と共用するため、コンサート等の日は混み合います。コンベンションセンター敷地内の業務車両・搬入車両や優先区画とは別に、道路向かいの一般立体駐車場へ入ります。車を置いた後は、車道を横切るのではなく交差点の横断歩道でセンターへ向かう案内です。
深夜に閉まる一部の出入口
駐車場自体は24時間営業ですが、新加茂川方向の出入口は23～翌5時に閉鎖されます。この時間帯はイオン米子駅前店側の出入口を利用します。ビッグシップはJR米子駅北口から徒歩5分、米子中ICから車約5分の駅前エリアにあります。夜遅く戻る予定では、立体駐車場の全体営業と個別の出入口の開閉を分けて把握しておくと、出庫経路を選びやすくなります。

Big Ship Front Parking is a three-storey facility opposite Yonago Convention Center, also known as Yonago Station-front Simple Parking. Shared with the cultural hall and Aeon Yonago Ekimae, it accepts ordinary paid parking as well as visits eligible for convention-event validation.

First-hour free period and the ¥1,000 cap
The first hour is free. Daytime charging is ¥100 per thirty minutes from 08:00 to 22:00; from 22:00 to 08:00 it is ¥100 per hour. Parking up to twenty-four hours after entry is capped at ¥1,000. This night-rate boundary is 22:00, rather than the underground municipal car park’s 18:00 boundary. Consider both the entry time and total stay for station-area meals, events or a visit extending overnight.
Validation takes place inside the event room
Visitors attending a Big Ship meeting or event take the parking ticket to the validation machine inside their event room. The event’s running time is covered; lost tickets, missing or incorrect validation and parking beyond the eligible period remain chargeable. This discount does not apply to the separate nearby car parks labelled P1–P5. Take the ticket into the event rather than leaving it in the car, and complete validation before returning to drive out.
Height restriction and shared capacity
Capacity is seven hundred ordinary cars, with a maximum height of 210 centimetres; motorcycles are not accepted. Shared use with the cultural hall and Aeon can make concerts and other event days busy. Enter the public multi-storey facility across the road, rather than the convention centre’s separate service, delivery or accessible parking areas. After parking, use the pedestrian crossing at the junction when walking to the centre instead of crossing the carriageway directly.
One entrance closes during the night
Although the car park operates twenty-four hours, its entrance/exit towards the Shin-Kamogawa closes from 23:00 to 05:00. Use the Aeon Yonago Ekimae side during that interval. Big Ship is in the station district, about five minutes on foot from the north exit or five minutes by car from Yonago-naka Interchange. For a late return, distinguish the car park’s overall operating hours from the closure of that particular access point.
