A terminal lot for 459 private cars
At 169 Iizuka-cho, the lot accommodates 459 private cars and operates twenty-four hours. Collect an entrance ticket and pass through the automatic gate. Despite the terminal's name, buses and trucks cannot use this parking area. Bicycles and motorcycles are directed to the free cycle area near the administration building. Distinguish parking for passengers' cars from the spaces used by operating buses when arranging a connection or pickup.
One free hour and twelve-hour additions
The first hour is free, parking over one through twelve hours costs ¥200, and each subsequent twelve-hour block adds ¥100. City examples are ¥300 for over twelve through twenty-four hours, ¥400 through thirty-six and ¥500 through forty-eight. Ota Civic Hall users can validate their ticket at the hall to receive four free hours. That is a separate benefit for hall users; ordinary bus passengers and pickups receive the standard initial hour.
Pickup in the lot, with the rotary for buses
To protect scheduled-bus routes, ordinary vehicles may neither park nor stop in the rotary. Pickup drivers wait and load passengers in the car park, using its first free hour. Tour buses wishing to use the rotary for boarding must submit a specific application at least fourteen days beforehand; that use is free. This procedure does not authorise private cars to wait in the rotary. Agreeing on the car park as the meeting place separates pickup movements from bus traffic.
Payment machines and advance exemptions
Machines accept ¥10, ¥50, ¥100 and ¥500 coins plus ¥1,000 and ¥2,000 notes. Only machine Three accepts ¥5,000 and ¥10,000 notes; no change service is available. A lost ticket costs ¥3,000. Eligible disability-certificate holders obtain free use through advance application and approval at the city office, presenting their certificate and a personal seal. Keep the standard first hour, Civic Hall validation and approved disability exemption distinct.
