北口側へ到着するための市営区画
東本町16-1にある、太田駅北口駅前広場の市営駐車場です。収容は15台で、駅の南側にある25台の駅前広場駐車場とは場所も規模も異なります。列車で到着する人を迎える、駅周辺の用事を済ませるといった際に、北口を起点に移動できます。最初の30分が無料なので、到着時刻に合わせた短い利用にも対応します。一般の市営時間貸し駐車場として、駅を利用する時の待ち合わせ地点を選ぶ手掛かりになります。
無料30分とその後の時間課金
料金は入庫後30分まで無料、その後は1時間ごと100円です。送迎で短く停める利用と、車を置いて駅周辺へ出掛ける利用では、滞在時間に応じた料金を見込めます。市営の飯田町駐車場は最初から課金する別の制度で、同じ太田駅周辺でも料金体系は一律ではありません。北口側を使う場合は、当駐車場の30分無料と時間課金を基準に選べます。利用時間は24時間なので、日中だけでなく列車の到着する時間帯にも出入りできます。
発券と精算に使える現金の準備
入口の自動発券機から駐車券を受け取り、ゲートを通って入庫します。出庫時は出口の精算機へ券を入れ、表示金額を精算する方式です。5千円札と1万円札は利用できず、両替もできないため、硬貨や少額紙幣を用意すると操作を進められます。駐車券紛失時は3,000円の扱いです。無料時間内の利用も入口で受け取る券が出庫に必要なので、短時間の送迎でも、乗り降りの後まで券を保管して使います。

Municipal parking on the north side
At 16-1 Higashi-Honcho, this municipal lot occupies the station's north plaza. Its fifteen spaces differ in location and capacity from the twenty-five-space south plaza lot. It can be used when collecting rail passengers or completing nearby errands from the north side. The first thirty minutes are free, supporting brief use timed to an arrival. It is a municipal hourly lot rather than the south-side facility.
Thirty free minutes, then hourly charging
The first thirty minutes after entry are free; subsequent parking costs ¥100 per hour. Distinguish a brief passenger pickup from leaving the car for longer activities near the station. Iidacho municipal parking follows a different tariff starting immediately on entry, so not all nearby municipal lots share the same rules. This north lot is available twenty-four hours, including arrivals outside normal daytime hours.
Entry tickets and cash preparation
Collect a ticket from the automatic entrance machine and enter through the gate. On departure, insert the ticket at the exit machine and pay the displayed amount. It does not accept ¥5,000 or ¥10,000 notes and cannot make change, so prepare coins or smaller notes. A lost ticket costs ¥3,000. Keep the entry ticket through departure, including a brief visit within the initial free period.
Two-wheelers and advance fee exemptions
Motorcycles and other motorised two-wheelers are not permitted under the municipal guidance. Holders of eligible physical, developmental or mental-disability certificates can receive free parking after submitting an advance exemption application and obtaining approval. The application requires the relevant certificate and a personal seal at the city office. It is not simply an exit-time certificate presentation system. Consider vehicle type and any prior approval alongside the north-side location.
