利用時間は8時30分～17時です。17時～翌8時30分は入口の車止めで閉鎖し、時間外の駐車はできません。閉鎖後は車を出せなくなるため、散策から17時までに戻って出庫します。イベント等によって利用時間が変更となる場合があります。

休憩所と夜間のトイレ用スペース

国道から曲がって公園へ入ると、左側にトイレや休憩所があります。車椅子対応トイレとスロープもあります。夜間閉鎖中にトイレ等を使う場合は、管理棟横に設けられた2台分の駐車スペースを利用します。これは公園の大きな駐車場とは別の、夜間利用向けの区画です。

芝生広場と港沿いの散歩を組み合わせる

公園内には休憩できる広場や記念のモニュメントがあり、歩道でつながる海辺を歩けます。伊豆急下田駅から徒歩約10分の位置で、港側の街並みを散策する拠点にもなります。駐車場を利用する場合は、夕方の閉鎖前に戻れる範囲で歩く時間を取ります。

下田市内で組み合わせる訪問先

まどが浜で港を眺め、金目亭で食事をして、爪木崎や白浜のホテルへ別に移動できます。金目亭は通常火曜休みで、昼の注文締切と祝日営業は店舗へ確認してください。駐車して散策する場合は、まどが浜の駐車場へ17時までに戻って出庫します。

Free parking for a harbour-side park

The free parking area accommodates 112 cars and five buses. The park faces Shimoda Harbour, with lawns and benches at several points. Take a break with views of the water and passing vessels. The entrance is off Route 135.

Open 8:30–17:00, with barriers outside these hours

Opening is 8:30–17:00. Entrance barriers close from 17:00 to 8:30, and parking is unavailable outside those hours. Cars cannot leave once the barriers close, so return from your walk and exit by 17:00. Events may alter the opening hours.

Rest area and night-time toilet parking

After turning into the park from the main road, toilets and a rest area are on the left. An accessible toilet and ramps are also provided. During the night closure, visitors using the toilets can use the separate two-space area beside the management building. These bays serve night-time facility visits separately from the main parking area.

Combine the lawns with a harbour walk

Lawns and commemorative monuments provide places to pause, with paths beside the harbour. The park is about ten minutes on foot from Izukyu-Shimoda Station and offers a starting point for the waterfront. When parking, leave enough time to return before the evening closure.

Other stops to combine within Shimoda

View the harbour at Madogahama, eat at Kinmetei and travel separately to the cape or a Shirahama hotel. Kinmetei is normally closed Tuesdays; ask about lunch last orders and public-holiday opening. Return to Madogahama parking and exit by 17:00.
