道の駅宇目の駐車場は、佐伯市の山間部を南北に走る国道326号で休憩する際の拠点です。北川ダム湖に架かる唄げんか大橋の近くにあり、車を止めて休む利用に加え、売店や農林産物直売所を利用できます。隣接するキャンプ村の宿泊や宇目の食事と、移動の休憩を組み合わせられます。

県境近くの国道三二六号でひと休み
宇目大字南田原2513-5にあり、大分県と宮崎県の境に近い国道326号の道の駅です。北川ダム湖の唄げんか大橋が目印になります。休憩用の駐車場とトイレは24時間無料で利用でき、大型車と障がい者用の駐車区画、多目的トイレもあります。海沿いの蒲江ではなく、宇目の山間部を通るドライブの途中に組み込めます。
橋と湖、直売所の季節の農産物
唄げんか大橋は1993年7月に開通した斜張橋で、逆Y字型の主塔と扇状のケーブルが湖面の景観を作ります。橋のたもとの道の駅には農林産物直売所があり、宇目の栗や椎茸、ぶどう、花などを扱います。駐車して休む間に、季節の農産物や土産を選ぶ使い方もできます。農林産物直売所は9～17時で、季節による変動があります。
駐車場と売店・食事の時間を分ける
道の駅の売店は10～17時が目安で、年始や毎月第3木曜などの休みがあります。昼のレストラン営業と、売店・軽食の利用も時間が異なります。早朝や夜に休憩用駐車場を使えることと、買い物や食事ができることは別です。農林産物直売所を目的に訪れる日や、食事を合わせる日は、昼間の営業時間に到着する行程にできます。
宿泊は隣のキャンプ村を別に予約
隣にはうめキャンプ村があり、コテージやテントの宿泊を受け入れています。道の駅の休憩駐車場は宿泊施設ではなく、宿泊はキャンプ村の予約とチェックインに分けます。道路の安全のための休憩や仮眠と、キャンプ滞在を区別して利用する場所です。宇目の飲食店や宿泊を組み合わせる際、買い物・休憩をここで済ませ、目的地へ移動する行程を作れます。

Rest on Route three-two-six near the prefectural border
At 2513-5 Minamitabaru, this roadside station stands near the Oita–Miyazaki border on Route 326, marked by Utagenka Bridge over the Kitagawa reservoir. Rest parking and toilets are free twenty-four hours, with large-vehicle and accessible spaces and multipurpose toilets. It serves an inland Ume drive rather than the Kamae coast.
The bridge, reservoir and seasonal produce
Utagenka Bridge opened in July 1993; its inverted-Y towers and fan-shaped cables frame the reservoir. The station’s farm-products stand sells seasonal Ume produce such as chestnuts, shiitake, grapes and flowers. Shopping can accompany a driving break. The produce stand generally opens 09:00–17:00, varying by season.
Parking, shops and food have different hours
Roadside-station shops generally run 10:00–17:00, with New Year and third-Thursday closures. Restaurant and light-refreshment periods are separate. Early or late access to the rest parking does not imply shopping or meals are available then. Arrange a daytime arrival when produce shopping or food is part of the stop.
Book the adjoining camp village separately
Ume Camp Village next door accepts cottage and tent stays under separate booking and check-in arrangements. The roadside rest area is not accommodation: road-safety rests or naps differ from camping stays. Combine a stop for shopping and rest with a meal or reserved accommodation elsewhere in Ume.
