観光案内所側の市営駐車場を選ぶ
駅前2丁目の観光案内所側にある市営駐車場です。普通車28台、大型バスは利用できません。24時間供用で、駐車券を受け取って利用し、精算は現金です。案内所の住所は駅前2-6-37で、駅から市内へ出かける際の拠点になります。JR佐伯駅前駐車場の15台の区画とは同じ駅前でも別の施設です。
二十分と三十分の境界を押さえる
20分までに出庫すれば無料で、20分を超え30分までが50円です。30分を超えた後は超過する30分ごとに50円を加算し、21時から翌7時の間は60分ごとに50円となります。端数は切り上げです。日中だけの利用なら、30分50円、60分100円が料金の例です。20分の無料時間の後にさらに30分無料になる計算ではありません。
継続二十四時間の上限とその後
継続して24時間以内に駐車した場合、計算額が1500円を超えると1500円です。24時間を超えて出庫する場合は、24時間分1500円に、その後の加算計算による料金を足す扱いが続きます。短時間利用では実際の加算額が料金になります。駅前で送迎や用事を済ませる利用と、鉄道を使って長めに車を置く利用で、滞在時間に応じて考えられます。
案内所や自転車は別の営業時間
観光案内所は9～18時、自転車格納庫・貸出自転車は9～17時30分で、駐車場の24時間利用とは別です。駅前から城下町へ向かう場合は、徒歩やバスに加えて観光案内所のレンタサイクルも選べます。車で駅まで来て、市街地の見学を別の移動手段でつなぐ行程です。駐車券を保管し、戻る時刻と駐車の経過時間を合わせて利用できます。

Available twenty-four hours, it uses parking tickets and cash payment. The information office address is 2-6-37 Ekimae. The fifteen-space JR station car park is a different facility within the station area.
Distinguish the twenty- and thirty-minute thresholds
Exit within twenty minutes for free. Over twenty through thirty minutes costs ¥50. Extra time after thirty minutes is ¥50 per thirty minutes, or per hour between 21:00 and 07:00, rounding incomplete intervals up. For daytime-only visits, thirty minutes costs ¥50 and sixty minutes ¥100. The initial twenty-minute allowance does not create another free thirty-minute period.
The continuous twenty-four-hour cap and beyond
For a continuous stay within twenty-four hours, calculated charges above ¥1,500 are capped at that amount. Beyond twenty-four hours, the ¥1,500 period and additional charges are added, continuing until departure. Shorter stays use their calculated fee. Consider the actual duration for a pickup, station-area errand or a longer rail trip.

The tourist information office opens 09:00–18:00 and bicycle storage/rental services 09:00–17:30, separate from twenty-four-hour parking.
