資料館の隣から城下町を歩く
大手町一丁目の駐車場は、旧文化会館下駐車場としても知られています。歴史資料館が隣接し、城山や「歴史と文学のみち」、うまいもん通りなどへ徒歩約1～10分の範囲で移動できます。車で市街地へ到着した後、徒歩で複数の施設をつなぐ拠点です。国木田独歩館の見学と、城山の麓の通りを歩く行程にも組み込めます。
無料で使える市営の屋外駐車場
駐車料金は無料で、24時間利用できます。普通車は135台、大型バスも受け入れています。屋外で、観光案内では無人対応の駐車場として紹介されています。一般の利用は申込不要です。大手町の無料駐車場と、大手町三丁目にある有料の「市営大手前駐車場」は別施設なので、歴史資料館隣の場所を目的地にして訪れられます。

Start castle-town walks beside the museum
Also known as the former cultural-hall parking area, the Otemachi site adjoins the historical museum. Shiroyama, the History and Literature Road and Umaimon-dori are around one to ten minutes away on foot. It provides a base for connecting several castle-town sites, including the Doppo house, without moving the car between each stop.
Free municipal outdoor parking
Parking is free and available twenty-four hours, with 135 car spaces and acceptance of large buses. This outdoor, unstaffed site requires no ordinary application. It is separate from the paid Otemae Municipal Car Park in Otemachi 3-chome; use the location beside the museum when navigating here.
Arrangements for groups and buses
Notify the city planning section in advance when many vehicles will use the site together, such as for a nearby meeting, or when a large bus will remain for an extended period.
