御手洗駐車場は、とびしま海道を渡って大崎下島の港町を訪れる際に使う無料の駐車拠点です。保存地区の細い路地へ車で入り込まず、歩いて海辺と町並みを巡れます。施設ごとの開館時間と、橋を渡って戻る移動の時間を合わせて滞在を組み立てられます。

二十台の駐車場から港町へ
観光案内に掲載される御手洗駐車場は20台、無料です。大崎下島の御手洗は住宅と商家、船宿などが続く保存地区で、通りや路地を歩いて見学します。駐車後は海辺の高燈籠や雁木、石垣護岸と、内側の路地の景色を合わせられます。施設ごとの入口を車で回るより、歩く範囲を決めて過ごせる地域です。
案内拠点の時間と建物の公開条件
御手洗65の休憩所は平日10時、土日祝9時から16時30分まで。火曜は祝日の場合翌日休、12月29日～1月3日も休館です。トイレや駐輪場を備え、散策情報を得られます。若胡子屋跡は修復作業中で見学できません。駐車が無料でも、地区内のすべての建物へ自由に入れる形式ではありません。
島を渡る道路料金と帰路
呉方面からは安芸灘大橋を渡り、とびしま海道の橋をつないで大崎下島へ向かいます。安芸灘大橋の通行料は、無料の駐車料金とは別です。呉ICから御手洗は市の案内で車約1時間30分が目安。途中の島での休憩や食事を含める場合は、戻る時間にも余裕を取れます。
徒歩の町歩きとバス利用
御手洗港には広駅前から豊島・沖友天満宮方面のバスで向かえます。車の旅でも、駐車場を出発点に、休憩所や海を見渡すカフェまで徒歩で組み合わせられます。町には現在も暮らしが続くため、出入口や細い道での駐停車を避け、地区の駐車場を使う行程が適しています。買物と見学の荷物を含め、車へ戻る時間を確保できます。
呉市内で組み合わせる訪問先
呉市は中心の港町から川尻・安浦、音戸・倉橋、とびしま海道の島々へ広がります。下の施設は市内の別分野の訪問先です。地域が異なる施設は車やバスでの移動時間を取り、橋の通行料、食事の締切、宿の到着時間に合わせて組み合わせられます。駐車場は訪れる地域と出入庫条件で選べます。
Mitarai’s free car park provides an arrival point after crossing the Tobishima islands to Osaki-Shimojima. Leave the car outside the narrow lanes and explore the harbour town on foot. Coordinate individual venue openings with the island crossings and return drive.

From twenty parking spaces into the port
The listed Mitarai car park has twenty free spaces. Houses, merchant buildings and former inns form a living preservation district explored on foot. After parking, combine the stone lighthouse, harbour steps and embankments with inland lanes. Plan a walking area around the parked car.
Information hours and individual building access
The rest house at No.65 opens 10:00 weekdays or 09:00 weekends/holidays until 16:30. It closes Tuesdays or the next day after a holiday, and December 29–January 3. Toilets, bicycle parking and visitor information are provided. Wakaebisuya is closed for restoration; free parking does not include unrestricted entry to every building.
Bridge tolls and the return journey
From Kure, cross Akinada Bridge and the Tobishima island bridges to Osaki-Shimojima. Akinada’s road toll is separate from free parking. The city suggests around ninety minutes from Kure IC to Mitarai. Allow extra return time for island stops and meals.
Walking routes and the bus alternative
Buses from Hiro Station towards Toyoshima and Okitomo Tenmangu serve Mitarai Port. Drivers can use the lot as the starting point for walks to the rest house and sea-view cafes. As this remains a residential community, use district parking and keep entrances and narrow streets clear. Allow time to return with any purchases.

アレイからすこじま駐車場は船見町5-5、普通車28台・大型バス10台の無料観光駐車場。8～20時で、20時以降は施錠されます。予約制ではなく、工事や検診など観光以外の目的は対象外。港の公園の散策と駐車場の利用時間は分けて計画できます。
