駐車場から川沿いの散策へ
一般駐車場とトイレがある、利用無料の河川公園です。一級河川の雄物川に沿い、一周1.3kmの舗装路を備えています。ランニングや子供の自転車練習に使われ、芝生ではグラウンドゴルフなどを楽しむ利用もあります。短い立ち寄りは舗装路を歩き、滞在時間を取る日は広場を使う形で、車移動の途中に体を動かす時間を加えられます。
十月の噴水と水路の景観
10月は金曜・土曜・日曜・祝日の9～16時、十五分ごとに噴水が稼働します。噴水の周囲にはせせらぎ水路や広々した芝生、散策路があります。噴水の運転曜日と時間に合わせれば、動きのある水景を見ながら休憩できます。水路周辺で遊ぶ子供連れと、歩いて景色を見る利用者が同じ公園で過ごすため、訪ねる目的に応じて場所を選べます。
デイキャンプと団体の申請
デイキャンプ場ではバーベキューや日中のキャンプを楽しめます。大人数による混雑を避けるため、概ね二十人以上で使用する際は公園使用許可申請書の提出が必要です。少人数の散歩と団体の催しでは手続きを分け、人数と活動に合わせて利用します。食事を持って滞在する日も、駐車場と歩く場所、広場の使い方を決めてから公園へ進めます。
横手中心部からの移動と増水時
所在地は雄物川町深井郷中島。横手ICから車約三十分、横手北スマートICから約二十五分です。大雨で川が増水すると立入制限となる場合があります。市内中心部とは車で移動する距離があるので、雄物川の古民家見学や温泉の前後に組み合わせられます。噴水の稼働時間を散歩の目安にし、増水による制限がある日はその範囲に従って移動します。

Walk from the car park to the riverside
This free riverside park has general parking and toilets beside the Omono River. A paved 1.3-kilometre circuit is used for running and children’s cycling practice, while lawns support activities such as ground golf. Walk part of the route during a brief stop or allow a longer stay in the open areas, adding outdoor movement to a day otherwise spent driving.
October fountains and the water channels
During October, fountains operate every fifteen minutes on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays between 09:00 and 16:00. Small water channels, broad lawns and walking routes surround the fountain area. Match the visit to these hours to see the moving water. Families using the channels and visitors taking a walk share the wider park, with different areas suited to different kinds of stop.
Day camping and group applications
The day-camping area accommodates barbecues and daytime camping. To limit crowding, groups of around twenty or more must submit a park-use permission application. Driving from Yokote and high-water restrictions
The park is at Gonakajima, Fukai, Omonogawa-machi, around thirty minutes from Yokote IC or twenty-five from Yokote-kita Smart IC. Heavy rain and rising river levels can lead to access restrictions. As it involves a drive from the centre, combine the stop with local traditional houses or hot springs. Use fountain hours as a daytime walking reference and follow the restricted area whenever high water limits access.
