津峯スカイライン八合目駐車場は、標高284mの津峯山にある津峯神社へ車で向かう際の拠点です。250台分を備え、駐車後に石段かリフトで山頂へ上がります。車の道程と、その先の参詣区間を分けて計画する場所です。

八合目に車を置く参詣の流れ
津峯山の八合目までスカイラインが通り、250台の駐車場を備えます。神社は標高284mの山頂に位置し、駐車場から社殿まではさらに上る行程です。参拝と橘湾方面の眺めを組み合わせるときは、車を降りてから歩く時間も取り、帰りに同じ八合目へ戻る順に予定を組みます。
通行無料の道路とナビの設定
津峯スカイラインの通行料金は2025年4月から無料です。神社の車での案内はスカイライン利用で、ナビにも「津峯スカイライン」を入れる方法を勧めています。参詣の車道として案内される時間は6～22時。山頂の神社を目的地にしたときも、車は八合目の駐車場で降りる行程になります。
三百段の石段か有料リフトへ
駐車場からは約300段の石段、または参詣リフトで上がります。リフトは9～17時、往復500円、上りのみ350円、下りのみ200円です。往路と復路で石段・リフトを組み合わせる場合も、運行終了17時を踏まえます。足元や同行者に合わせ、駐車時点で上り方と戻る時刻を決めておくと動きやすくなります。
徒歩の登山口とは分けて到着する
所在地は津乃峰町東分343の津峯山です。JR阿波橘駅から徒歩約3分の大鳥居は、徒歩登山の起点で、八合目駐車場とは場所が異なります。徒歩は表参道と急な裏参道があり、初めての人には表参道を勧めています。車で訪ねる日はスカイラインから八合目へ、徒歩で登る日は駅近くの登山口からと到着点を選びます。

Park below the final shrine ascent
The skyline road reaches the eighth station, where 250 parking spaces serve the shrine. The shrine itself stands at the summit, 284 metres above sea level, so a further ascent remains after the drive. Allow walking time for worship and views towards Tachibana Bay, returning to the same eighth-station parking afterwards.
The toll-free road and navigation
Skyline road tolls were removed in April 2025. The shrine directs drivers along this road and recommends entering Tsunomine Skyline into navigation. The published driving period for visits is 06:00–22:00. Even when the shrine is the destination, the driving section ends at the eighth-station parking.
Choose steps or the paid lift
Continue by roughly three hundred stone steps or the pilgrimage lift. It runs 09:00–17:00 at ¥500 return, ¥350 uphill only or ¥200 downhill only. Combining steps one way with the lift the other still requires returning before the 17:00 lift finish. Choose the ascent and return plan around the party’s mobility and the available time.
Distinguish parking from the footpath approach
The location is Mount Tsunomine at 343 Higashibun. The large torii around three minutes from Awa-Tachibana Station is the footpath starting point, not the eighth-station car park. Walking routes include a main approach and a steep rear route, with the main approach recommended for first visits. Drivers use the skyline; walkers begin near the station.
Other stops in Anan
Central Tomioka, Nakagawa and Hanoura, Kuwano, and the Tachibana/Tsubaki coast involve different directions of travel. Combine time at the accommodation, daytime or evening meals, and parking for the intended facility with the next stop in the itinerary.
