和室と洋室で山麓に泊まる
標高約500メートルの宿で、北側の客室からは鳥海山、南側からは庄内平野や月山方面の景色を望めます。和室と洋室があり、1階にはバリアフリーの洋室もあります。通常は15時からチェックイン、10時チェックアウト。シングルを2名、ツインを3名で使う場合は1名がエキストラベッドとなります。宿泊料金の精算にはクレジットカードとPayPayを利用できます。
露天風呂と予約制の家族風呂
天然温泉には男女別の内湯と露天風呂、貸切の家族風呂があります。家族風呂はバリアフリーで、1時間単位の予約が必要です。露天風呂は冷え込みと凍結のため例年1月初旬～4月初旬に休止予定。日帰り入浴は11～21時で、2026年10月1日から大人620円、小学生260円、未就学児無料となりました。市の案内ではこの外来入浴料に入湯税を含みます。
11月下旬までの工事と部屋選び
浄化槽改修工事は2026年9月1日～11月下旬の予定です。作業は9～17時、騒音は10～15時の予定で、正面玄関スロープ、男子露天風呂西側、入口ホール西側、駐車場東側などの景観に影響があります。2階201・202号室は工事期間限定の条件を付けたプランで販売しています。鳥海山の眺望は維持され、工事期間中も条件に合わせた宿泊を受け付けています。
駅送迎は時刻を決めて予約
JR酒田駅と酒田庄交バスターミナルからの無料送迎は、事前予約が必要です。依頼する時刻は9～17時で、定期便はありません。庄内空港からの無料送迎は行っていないため、空港利用は酒田駅までの移動と駅送迎を組み合わせられます。車では酒田ICから約23キロ・約40分。食事付きと素泊まりなどのプランがあり、到着時刻や山歩きの予定に合わせて選べます。

Japanese and Western rooms in the foothills
At around five hundred metres elevation, north-facing rooms look toward Mount Chokai and southern rooms toward the Shonai Plain and Mount Gassan. Options include Japanese and Western rooms, with an accessible Western room on the ground floor. Check-in is from 15:00 and checkout at 10:00. Two people in a single or three in a twin require an extra bed for one guest. Credit cards and PayPay are accepted for accommodation payments.
Outdoor baths and a reserved family bath
The natural hot springs include separate indoor and outdoor baths and a private family bath. The accessible family bath requires a reservation in one-hour units. Outdoor bathing normally pauses from early January to early April because of cold and ice. Day bathing runs 11:00–21:00. Since October 1, 2026, it costs ¥620 for adults and ¥260 for elementary school children, with preschool children free; the city identifies the day-bathing price as including bathing tax.
Construction through late November
Septic-system work is scheduled from September 1 to late November 2026. Work is planned for 9:00–17:00, with noise expected 10:00–15:00. Affected views include areas by the entrance slope, the western side of the men's outdoor bath and entrance hall, and the eastern parking area. Rooms 201 and 202 have special construction-period plans. Mount Chokai views remain available, and accommodation continues with plans reflecting the construction conditions.
Reserve a transfer time in advance
Free transfers from JR Sakata Station and Sakata Shoko Bus Terminal require advance reservations for times between 9:00 and 17:00; there is no scheduled shuttle. There is no free airport pickup, so air travellers can travel to Sakata Station before using a reserved transfer. By car, the lodge is about twenty-three kilometres or forty minutes from Sakata IC. Meal-inclusive and room-only packages allow different arrival and walking plans.
