舟宿ひな―鄙―は、大島と伯方島の間にある鵜島で、宮窪瀬戸の潮流を眺めて過ごす一棟貸しのゲストハウスです。1日1組、最大10名で、キッチンと洗濯機を備え、数日滞在する旅にも使えます。橋で直接渡れる島ではなくフェリーで訪ねるため、買物を済ませてから乗船し、到着時刻を宿の受付時間に合わせる計画が役立ちます。

潮流を眺める1組限定の宿
鵜島の片隅にあり、大きな潮の満ち引きで流れが変わる宮窪瀬戸に面しています。砂浜や島内の散策を楽しみ、木造和船の見学や、予約時に申し込むトゥクトゥクでの島内散歩も扱っています。建物は一棟貸しで、他の宿泊組と共用せず過ごす方式。居間で海を眺めたり、仲間や家族で滞在する使い方ができます。
キッチンと洗濯機、持参する食料
館内には風呂・トイレ、調理器具を備えたキッチン、IH調理器、炊飯器、電子レンジ、冷蔵庫、洗濯機があります。Wi-Fiとエアコン、タオル類、ドライヤー、ソープも備えています。島には小売店も飲食店もないので、滞在中の食料品と日用品を渡航前に用意します。送迎や滞在中の買物サポートは内容に応じた別料金で手配できます。
季節と泊数で変わる一棟料金
1～3泊目の一棟料金は2名分込みで、4～6月・10～11月は1泊31,000円、7～9月・12～3月は33,000円です。この泊数帯では追加大人7,700円、小学生5,500円、未就学児3,300円。4泊目以降、8泊目以降、14泊目以降には別の料金帯があります。キャンセルは10～8日前10％、7～4日前30％、3～2日前50％、前日80％、当日・不泊100％です。
フェリー到着と日曜のチェックイン
鵜島は伯方島の尾浦港と大島の宮窪港を結ぶフェリーで訪ねます。チェックインは14～18時ですが、日曜は14～16時と短くなり、チェックアウトは12時です。船の欠航や悪天候に伴うキャンセル・延泊には料金を取らない方針です。島内の道は狭く曲がりくねる区間があり、車を運ぶ場合は島内の走行にも配慮します。館内は禁煙、ペットは同伴できません。
今治市内で組み合わせる訪問先
今治市は市街地と、大島・伯方島・大三島などの島々に広がります。以下は市内の別方面も含む訪問先で、島をまたぐ場合は橋や船での移動時間を取れます。大島のICは四国方面が大島南、本州方面が大島北。船で渡る鵜島や、自家用車で入れない馬島の宿は、船の運航と予約送迎を宿泊の到着時刻に合わせて選べます。
Funayado Hina is an exclusive guesthouse on Ushima between Oshima and Hakatajima, looking across the tidal waters of Miyakubo Seto. One party of up to ten has use of a kitchen and washing machine, making longer stays possible. The island is reached by ferry rather than directly by bridge, so shop before boarding and align arrival with the check-in window.

An exclusive stay beside the tidal strait
The house faces Miyakubo Seto, where the changing tide creates strong currents. Guests can explore the island and beach, see a wooden Japanese boat, or request an island tuk-tuk outing when booking. The whole building is rented to one party, without sharing with other overnight guests, providing space for families or friends to spend time beside the water.
Kitchen, laundry and food supplies
Facilities include a bath and toilet, a kitchen with cookware, induction cooker, rice cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Wi-Fi, air conditioning, towels, a hairdryer and soap are supplied. As the island has neither shops nor restaurants, bring food and daily supplies before crossing. Transfers and shopping support during the stay can be arranged for additional charges depending on the service.
House rates by season and length of stay
For nights one to three, the whole-house rate includes two guests: ¥31,000 per night in April–June and October–November, or ¥33,000 in July–September and December–March. Extra guests in this band pay ¥7,700 per adult, ¥5,500 per primary-school child and ¥3,300 per preschool child. Lower bands apply from nights four, eight and fourteen. Cancellation charges are 10% at ten to eight days, 30% at seven to four days, 50% at three to two days, 80% the day before and 100% on the day or for no-shows.
Ferry arrivals and Sunday check-in
Ushima is served by the ferry linking Oura Port on Hakatajima and Miyakubo Port on Oshima. Check-in is 14:00–18:00, shortened to 14:00–16:00 on Sundays; checkout is at noon. The house states that cancellation or an extended stay caused by weather or ferry cancellation is not charged. Island roads include narrow, winding sections, relevant when bringing a vehicle. Indoor smoking and pets are not permitted.
Other stops to combine within Imabari
Imabari extends from its mainland centre across islands including Oshima, Hakatajima and Omishima. These suggestions include other parts of the city, so allow bridge or boat travel between islands. Oshima-minami Interchange serves arrivals from Shikoku and Oshima-kita those from Honshu. For ferry-served Ushima or car-restricted Umashima, coordinate sailings or reserved transfers with accommodation arrival times.
