おおるりの家は、上恩方の里山にある和室の宿泊施設です。浴室・トイレ付きの部屋と共用設備の部屋があり、家族やグループの人数から選べます。公園入場口とは利用するバス停が異なり、食事も宿泊と別の予約です。2027年春の営業休止予定を踏まえ、泊まれる日と食事の締切を合わせて手配できます。

10畳から24畳の和室と浴室の違い
2階は醍醐・陣馬・堂所・景信が10畳・6名で風呂とトイレ付き、高尾は21畳・12名でトイレと洗面各2か所、内風呂なしです。1階は明王・白沢が12畳・6名、和田・小仏が24畳・12名で、トイレは共同、大浴場を利用します。浴場は温泉ではありません。部屋名と広さだけでなく、共同設備を使う人数や動線も合わせて選べます。
宿泊と食事を分けて予約する
通常の宿泊料金は大人1名1泊5,000円、4歳～中学生2,500円で食事は別です。3歳以下の宿泊は無料ですが、寝具を使うと子ども料金です。食事は併設いろりばたへ別予約し、夕食18時、朝食8時。朝食は中学生以上1,485円、4歳～小学生1,265円、2～3歳715円税込です。宿泊し食事を利用しない場合も、食事なしの申告が必要です。
3か月前の受付と2027年春の休止
宿泊予約は3か月前の10時から電話・フロントで受け付けます。通常の締切は食事あり14日前17時、食事なし3日前17時。年末年始12月29日～1月3日など指定繁忙期の食事は21日前までです。宿泊の支払いは現金。施設老朽化により、おおるりの家といろりばたは2027年4月1日から当面休止予定で、公園の他施設は通常利用となります。
宮の下バス停と11台の無料駐車
高尾駅北口から陣馬高原下行きで、宿へは「宮の下」下車すぐです。公園へ向かう一つ先の「夕焼小焼」と区別して到着します。専用駐車は11台無料。夕食を予約した場合は18時まで、食事なしでも閉門・消灯22時までの到着となります。館内は客室とベランダを含め禁煙で、個人宿泊ではタオルを用意、歯ブラシはフロント販売です。
八王子市内で組み合わせる訪問先
夕やけ小やけの里山散策とおおるりの家は、日中の見学と宿泊の食事・到着時刻を合わせて組めます。ここから高尾山口や南浅川の囲炉裏料理へ向かうときは、恩方から市内を移動する時間を取り、夜の予約に合わせて出発できます。食事処と宿の2027年4月からの休止予定も含め、滞在する時期に合う宿と夕食を選べます。
Ooruri no Ie offers tatami accommodation in the rural Kamiongata area. Rooms differ in private versus shared bathroom facilities and group size. Its bus stop differs from the park entrance, and meals require a separate reservation. Match the stay date and meal deadline with the announced spring 2027 suspension.

Tatami rooms and bathroom differences
Upstairs, Daigo/Jinba/Dosho/Kagenobu have ten tatami mats, sleep six and include bath/toilet. Takao has twenty-one mats for twelve, two toilets/washbasins and no private bath. Downstairs, Myoo/Shirasawa have twelve mats for six, Wada/Kobotoke twenty-four mats for twelve; these use shared toilets and communal bathing. The bath is not a hot spring. Compare facilities as well as room size.
Book the stay and meals separately
Usual room-only rates are ¥5,000/adult/night or ¥2,500 for ages 4 through junior high. Ages 3 and younger stay free, but using bedding incurs the child rate. Reserve meals separately at Iroribata: dinner 18:00 and breakfast 8:00. Tax-included breakfast costs ¥1,485 from junior high, ¥1,265 ages 4–primary school and ¥715 ages 2–3. Declare a no-meal stay as well.
Three-month booking window and spring 2027 suspension
Stays open for telephone/front-desk booking at 10:00 three months ahead. Normal deadlines are 17:00 fourteen days before with meals or three days before without them. Meal bookings for specified peak periods, including December 29–January 3, close twenty-one days ahead. Stay payment is cash. Ooruri no Ie and Iroribata plan an indefinite suspension from April 1, 2027 due to ageing buildings; other park facilities remain available.
Miyanoshita bus stop and eleven free spaces
From Takao’s north exit, take the Jinba-Kogenshita bus and alight at Miyanoshita for the lodging, rather than the park’s next stop Yuyake-Koyake. Eleven dedicated parking spaces are free. Arrive by 18:00 for a booked dinner, or by the 22:00 gate/lights-out time without dinner. Rooms and verandas are nonsmoking. Individual guests receive towels; toothbrushes are sold at reception.
Other stops to combine within Hachioji
Combine Yuyake Koyake’s rural walks and Ooruri-no-Ie around daytime visits, accommodation arrival and meals. Continuing from Ongata to Takaosanguchi or Minamiasakawa irori dining requires travel across the city; leave time to reach an evening reservation. The planned April2027 pause of the park restaurant and inn also affects accommodation and dinner choices for that season.
