Seiryuso is a Rendaiji inn near the Inozawa River, with gardens and hot springs. Japanese rooms, maisonettes and private-bath options offer different ways to stay. A year-round thermal swimming pool and saunas let you combine swimming with time in the baths.

庭園を望む客室と食事場所で選ぶ

北斗館、本館、東館、西館に22室があり、露天風呂付きのメゾネットや、半露天風呂付き和洋室、内風呂付き和室などがあります。87㎡のメゾネットツインは2名、95㎡の和洋室メゾネットは2～4名。東館の半露天風呂付き和洋室は62㎡・1～4名です。食事場所は客室タイプと人数によって部屋食または食事処となり、チェックアウトは11時です。

源泉かけ流しの大浴場と貸切風呂

3本の自家源泉から引く温泉を、大浴場の内風呂と露天風呂で楽しめます。清掃時間11時～14時と、23時30分～24時の男女入替時間は利用できません。貸切露天風呂「月夕の湯」は50分1,650円税込で、23時以降は無料の案内です。客室にも露天風呂・半露天風呂・内風呂付きのタイプがあり、浴室を持たない客室もあります。

通年の温泉プールと二つのサウナ

温泉プールは水温約30℃で、季節を問わず8時～22時に泳げます。薪を焚くケロサウナは14時～20時、テルマリウムは14時～22時と翌朝8時～11時です。テルマリウムは水着・サウナ着で利用し、プールにはレンタル水着もあります。温泉と水泳を交互に楽しむなら、それぞれの営業時間を合わせて過ごせます。

蓮台寺駅から歩く、または無料送迎を頼む

蓮台寺駅から徒歩約5分・車約2分、伊豆急下田駅から車約8～10分です。どちらの駅からも無料送迎を行い、予約時に申し込みます。到着時刻が未定の場合も、当日あらかじめ予定時刻を電話で伝える方式です。海沿いの市街地から離れた川沿いの宿なので、チェックイン前後に下田中心部を回る場合は駅との移動時間を含めます。

下田市内で組み合わせる訪問先

蓮台寺から下田市街へ出て開国博物館を見学し、駅近くのいし塚で昼食を取れます。渡邉は駅利用向けの予約駐車場です。清流荘の無料送迎は蓮台寺・伊豆急下田の両駅から事前申込みで利用できるため、戻る駅と到着時刻を揃えます。

Choose a garden room and dining arrangement

Twenty-two rooms are spread across Hokutokan, the main building and the east and west wings. Options include open-air-bath maisonettes, Japanese-Western rooms with semi-open-air baths and Japanese rooms with indoor baths. The 87-square-metre twin maisonette sleeps two; the 95-square-metre Japanese-Western maisonette sleeps two to four. East-wing semi-open-air-bath rooms measure 62 square metres and sleep one to four. Meals are served in the room or dining area according to room category and party size. Checkout is at 11:00.

Flow-through public baths and private bathing

Three private springs supply the indoor and open-air public baths. They close for cleaning from 11:00 to 14:00 and for the changeover between men and women from 23:30 to midnight. The private open-air bath is listed at ¥1,650 including tax for fifty minutes, with no charge after 23:00. Room categories include open-air, semi-open-air and indoor baths, as well as rooms without their own bath.

A year-round thermal pool and two saunas

The thermal pool is kept at around 30°C and opens 8:00–22:00 throughout the year. The wood-fired kelo sauna runs 14:00–20:00, and the Thermarium 14:00–22:00 and 8:00–11:00 the next morning. Swimwear or sauna clothing is worn in the Thermarium, and rental swimsuits are available for the pool. The separate opening times help you plan a stay combining swimming and hot-spring bathing.

Walk from Rendaiji or arrange a free transfer

Rendaiji Station is about five minutes away on foot or two by car; Izukyu-Shimoda Station is roughly eight to ten minutes by car. Free transfers from either station should be requested when booking. If your arrival time is undecided, telephone ahead on the day with the expected time. Allow for the station transfer when combining this riverside stay with visits to central Shimoda.

Other stops to combine within Shimoda

Travel from Rendaiji into town for the museum and lunch at Ishizuka near the station. Watanabe provides reserved station parking. Arrange Seiryuso’s free transfer from either Rendaiji or Izukyu-Shimoda in advance, specifying the return station and arrival time.
