純けいと部位の違いを味わう
秋吉の純けいはメス鶏を使う歯ごたえのある串です。若どり、ねぎま、レバーのあか、腸のしろ、すなぎもなどを、塩やタレで用意します。鶏だけでなく豚や牛、野菜の串もあり、食べる量や好みに合わせて選べます。全国の秋吉で共通する料理がある一方、取り扱いと料金は店舗によって異なります。
焼き鳥以外の揚げ物と食事
串カツや揚げ物、野菜などの一品料理と、ご飯ものを組み合わせられます。タレ焼きの串には甘めの焼き鳥ダレ、塩焼きには肉ダレなど、料理に応じた味付けがあります。片町店を含む一部店舗だけの特別メニューもあるため、別店舗の限定料理をすべて同じ店で食べられる形ではありません。夜の食事を串と一品でまとめる過ごし方ができます。

Akiyoshi Fukui Katamachi is a yakitori restaurant in Fukui’s dining district. Firm-textured junkei hen, young chicken with sauce and other cuts provide different flavours in small skewers. It fits an evening meal after daytime sightseeing and before returning to accommodation nearby.

Junkei and the different cuts
Junkei uses hen meat for a firm-textured skewer. Other choices include young chicken, chicken with spring onion, liver, intestines and gizzard, served with salt or sauce. Pork, beef and vegetable skewers broaden the selection. Many dishes belong to the wider Akiyoshi menu, but availability and prices vary by branch.
Fried dishes and food beyond yakitori
Fried skewers, vegetables and rice dishes can accompany the grilled meat. Different sauces suit sweet-glazed and salt-grilled skewers. Some special dishes are restricted to particular branches, so the entire chain’s special-menu selection is not available at every restaurant. A meal can combine a few kinds of skewers with side dishes and rice.
Sunday exceptions and opening times
Opening is 17:30 on weekdays and 17:00 on weekends and holidays. Closing is midnight on weekdays/Saturdays and 23:00 on Sundays/holidays. Ordinary Sundays are closed, but the branch opens when Monday is a public or substitute holiday. The schedule therefore differs between a normal weekend and a holiday weekend. Plan this as an evening meal.
Finding the Katamachi branch
The Katamachi branch is at 2-7-1 Junka. It is separate from the Ote station-front branch and New Akiyoshi inside Hotel Fujita, whose opening arrangements differ. A designated smoking room is provided. Combining the meal with central accommodation allows an evening on foot, with walking or public transport for anyone drinking alcohol.
