一乗谷あさくら水の駅の駐車場は、一乗谷朝倉氏遺跡方面へ向かう道沿いの休憩拠点です。無料の駐車と屋外トイレを終日利用でき、昼間は土産や食事、三連水車と芝生広場を楽しめます。復原町並や博物館に到着する前後の立ち寄りとして選べます。

無料駐車と屋外トイレの休憩拠点
駐車場と施設外トイレは24時間利用でき、普通車と大型車の区画を備えます。館内が閉まった時間も休憩用の駐車とトイレは利用可能です。道の駅は安波賀中島町にあり、復原町並や県立一乗谷朝倉氏遺跡博物館の敷地内駐車場ではありません。遺跡の目的地へ進む前後の立ち寄り場所として利用できます。
三連水車と水辺の散策
園内では直径約4mの三連水車が目印となり、水車小屋やビオトープ、芝生広場などがあります。農業用水を活用する仕組みや水辺の環境を見ながら、運転の合間に歩けます。夜は水車と用水のライトアップを日没～22時に行い、ホタルの時期に当たる5月末～6月中旬は点灯を休みます。駐車だけでなく、短い散歩にも時間を使えます。
館内九時と食事の十五時締切
ふれあい情報館は通常9～18時、12月・1月は17時までです。飲食ブースは通常10～16時ですが、15時以降はカフェメニューのみになるため、そばや丼を食べる場合は早めの時間を選べます。年末年始やメンテナンスの館内休業は、駐車場と屋外トイレの終日利用とは別です。冬季の館内短縮も、駐車場が17時に閉門する意味ではありません。
福井ICから一乗谷へ向かう途中
住所は福井市安波賀中島町1-1-1。福井ICから約6～9分のルートで、遺跡方面へ向かう車の休憩に利用できます。市街地からの一乗谷東郷線はあさくら水の駅下車すぐ。館内には地域の観光・道路情報や特産品があり、電動自転車を含むレンタサイクルの貸出もあります。車を置いて移動する場合は貸出時間内の返却を含めた行程にできます。
福井市内で組み合わせる訪問先
福井市は駅前と城下町、足羽山、一乗谷・美山、越前海岸へ広がります。下の施設は市内の別分野の訪問先です。海岸と山間部の移動時間、食事の注文締切、宿の到着時間を含めて組み合わせられます。駐車場は所在地と出入庫時間に合うものを選べます。
Parking at Ichijodani Asakura Mizunoeki provides a roadside break on the approach to the Asakura archaeological area. Free parking and outdoor toilets are available all day and night; daytime adds shopping, food, triple waterwheels and lawns. It serves a stop before or after the restored townscape or museum.

A free parking and outdoor-toilet stop
Parking and outdoor toilets operate twenty-four hours, with ordinary- and large-vehicle areas. They remain available when the indoor building is closed. The roadside station is at Abaka-Nakajima, separate from parking within the restored townscape or prefectural museum grounds. Use it as an approach or return stop for the archaeological area.
Triple waterwheels and waterside walks
Three waterwheels around four metres in diameter mark the site, alongside a mill house, biotope and lawns. A walk introduces the irrigation-water setting and breaks up a drive. Waterwheel and channel illumination runs from sunset until 22:00, except during the late-May to mid-June firefly period.
Indoor opening and the food-service cutoff
The information/shop building normally opens 09:00–18:00, shortened to 17:00 in December–January. Ordinary food service is 10:00–16:00, but only cafe items are served after 15:00, so arrive earlier for noodles or rice bowls. Year-end and maintenance closures of the building do not remove twenty-four-hour parking and outdoor toilets. Winter indoor closing at 17:00 does not mean the car park is locked then.
On the approach from Fukui Interchange
The address is 1-1-1 Abaka-Nakajima-cho, roughly six–nine minutes from Fukui Interchange. The Ichijodani-Togo bus stops at Asakura Mizunoeki. Inside are regional visitor and road information and local products, with bicycle hire including assisted bicycles. A ride from the station should fit the loan and return window.
