飛騨牛乳と郡上の水から作るジェラート

ミルク系のジェラートには飛騨牛乳、シャーベット系には郡上の水を使います。おすすめの「ふるさとミルク」は飛騨の酪農家の牛乳を100％使う味で、乳を含みます。2013年に工房付きの店舗を明宝で開業し、手作りのジェラートを提供しています。

日替わりで選ぶミルクと果物の味

30種類以上のレシピから、日替わりで18種類が店頭に並びます。商品にはあまおう苺、バニラ、ヨーグルト、チョコレート、白桃、ピスタチオ、ブラッドオレンジ、マンゴーなどがあります。日によって並ぶ種類が変わるため、ショーケースから好みの味を選べます。

本店は10～18時、火曜休み

明宝大谷の本店は10～18時で、火曜が定休日です。八幡町橋本町894-5の郡上八幡店は11～17時・不定休という別の営業条件です。明宝の景色を巡る日には、夕方18時までの立寄りと火曜の休みを組み込んで回れます。

明宝大谷822、道の駅の向かいへ

本店の住所は明宝大谷822です。道の駅明宝の向かいにあり、道の駅側の大谷1015とは番地が異なります。せせらぎ街道沿いの明宝で、ドライブの途中に甘味を選ぶ行程を組めます。

郡上市内で組み合わせる訪問先

明宝ジェラート本店を訪ね、車で八幡の大滝鍾乳洞や積翠園へ移動する組み合わせです。本店は大谷822、向かいの道の駅は大谷1015にあり、道の駅は休憩や買物で利用できます。ジェラート本店と大滝鍾乳洞は火曜が基本の休みなので、訪問日を合わせます。

Gelato made with Hida milk and Gujo water

Milk-based gelato uses Hida milk, while sorbets use Gujo water. The recommended Furusato Milk flavour uses 100% milk from Hida dairy farms and contains dairy. The workshop and shop opened in Meiho in 2013 and serves handmade gelato.

Daily milk and fruit choices

Eighteen choices are displayed daily from more than thirty recipes. Flavours include Amaou strawberry, vanilla, yogurt, chocolate, white peach, pistachio, blood orange and mango. The selection changes by day, so choose from the display available during the visit.

Main shop open 10:00–18:00, closed Tuesdays

The Otani main shop opens 10:00–18:00 and closes Tuesdays. The separate Gujo Hachiman branch at 894-5 Hashimotocho opens 11:00–17:00 with irregular closing days. Plan a Meiho stop before 18:00 and account for the Tuesday closure.

822 Otani, opposite the roadside station

The main shop is at 822 Otani, opposite Michi-no-Eki Meiho, whose address is 1015 Otani. It makes a sweet stop during a Seseragi Kaido drive through Meiho.

Other stops to combine within Gujo

Visit Meiho Gelato’s main shop, then drive to Otaki Cave or Sekisuien in Hachiman. The shop is at 822 Otani, opposite the roadside station at 1015, where rest facilities and shopping are available. Both the gelato shop and Otaki Cave normally close Tuesdays, so coordinate the visiting day.
