殿町の広場から城下町を歩く

城下町プラザには観光案内所、土産売場、無料休憩所、公衆トイレがあり、広場の中央はイベントや郡上おどりの会場にもなります。行事のないときは、バスやマイカーの駐車スペースとして利用できます。殿町の食事や町並み散策を組み合わせやすい場所です。

普通車550円、バスは予約制

駐車利用協力金は普通車1回550円、オートバイ1回300円です。バスは予約が必要で、3時間以内3,000円。いずれも税込の案内です。17時以降から翌8時30分までの夜間は別料金になるため、昼から夜まで滞在する日の駐車時間に合わせて利用します。

施設の営業時間は8時30分～17時で、郡上おどりの期間などには延長する場合があります。休業日は12月29日～1月3日です。コインロッカー、無料休憩所、公衆トイレは24時間利用でき、フリーWi-Fiもあります。イベント開催日は広場の駐車利用に制限が出る場合があります。

郡上八幡ICから約10分、駅から徒歩25分

郡上八幡ICから車で約10分、所在地は八幡町殿町69です。長良川鉄道の郡上八幡駅からは徒歩約25分。高速八幡線などのバスは城下町プラザで下車できます。場内には市街を回るまめバスの停留所もあり、車を置いて歩く行程の起点になります。

郡上市内で組み合わせる訪問先

プラザから徒歩約20分の登り道で城へ向かい、まついで昼食を取って積翠園へ泊まる行程です。まついは2026年10月21日・28日休み、11時開店・売切れ終了です。プラザの普通車550円は1回の昼間利用で、17時以降は別料金。宿泊時はホテルの無料駐車場も使えます。

Explore the castle town from the plaza

The plaza has visitor information, souvenir shops, a free rest area and public toilets. Its central open space also hosts events and Gujo Odori dancing. When events are not using it, the space accommodates coaches and cars, providing a base for meals and walks around Tonomachi.

Cars at ¥550 and advance coach reservations

The parking contribution is ¥550 per car or ¥300 per motorcycle per visit. Coaches require a reservation and cost ¥3,000 for up to three hours. These prices include tax. A separate night charge applies from 17:00 until 8:30, which matters when extending a daytime visit into the evening.

Facility hours and round-the-clock rest facilities

Facilities normally open 8:30–17:00, sometimes extending hours during Gujo Odori and other occasions. The New Year closure runs December 29–January 3. Lockers, the free rest area and public toilets are available around the clock, and free Wi-Fi is provided. Event days may restrict use of the plaza for parking.

Ten minutes from the interchange, or walk from the station

The address is 69 Tonomachi, about ten minutes by car from Gujo Hachiman IC or twenty-five minutes on foot from Gujo Hachiman Station. Highway Hachiman-line buses stop at Jokamachi Plaza. Local Mame buses also call here, allowing a visit to combine parking, walking and public transport.

Other stops to combine within Gujo

Walk uphill about twenty minutes from the plaza to the castle, have lunch at Matsui and stay at Sekisuien. Matsui opens at 11:00 until sold out and closes October 21 and 28, 2026. Plaza car parking costs ¥550 per daytime visit, with separate charges from 17:00; overnight hotel guests also have free hotel parking.
