Hirosaki Station East Exit Parking adjoins the eastern plaza for pickups and rail travel. Its entrance, capacity and maximum charge differ from the Central Exit lot. Agree on the East Exit meeting point with passengers and check cash payment and vehicle dimensions before using it.
At a glance
| Opening / capacity | 24 hours all year; 128 spaces including three disability bays |
|---|---|
| Basic charge | First thirty minutes free; then ¥100 per thirty minutes |
| Cap | ¥800 per twenty-four hours, repeating |
| Payment | No cashless payment; only ¥1,000 banknotes |
Parking beside the eastern station plaza
The address is 1-101-15 Joto-chuo, adjoining the station’s East Exit plaza. The lot is accessible from the Route 7 side and serves uses such as family pickups. It is physically separate from the Central Exit car park, so specify the eastern meeting point to arriving passengers. For a brief collection, use a parking space while waiting rather than remaining in the station’s circulating traffic.
Thirty minutes free and a repeating ¥800 cap
The first thirty minutes are free, then parking costs ¥100 per thirty minutes. The twenty-four-hour maximum is ¥800, repeating for further twenty-four-hour periods. This differs from the Central Exit’s ¥1,000 cap, so choose around the rail trip’s length and the side to which you will return. The short free period and longer repeating cap serve different uses, from pickups to travel returning the following day.
128 spaces, vehicle limits and cash preparation
Of 128 spaces, three are designated for disabled users. Cars must be strictly under five metres long and two metres wide; a vehicle exactly at either limit does not satisfy “under.” Payment is not cashless, and high-denomination notes are unsupported: ¥1,000 is the accepted banknote. Keep cash ready for the return before leaving on the train. A support-centre intercom is provided at the payment machine.
Service tickets and choosing the correct station side
General parking is available around the clock all year. Nearby shops may offer use tickets or service tickets according to purchases; eleven ¥100-use tickets for ¥1,000 are sold at the Central Exit bicycle-parking office. Business-only three-hour tickets do not create a universal three-hour free period. New regular-contract applications are currently suspended. Navigate to the East Exit car park’s address, rather than simply Hirosaki Station, to arrive on the intended side.
