海峡メッセと図書館へ歩く拠点
所在地は細江町2-8-25。海峡メッセ下関、海峡ゆめタワー、ドリームシップと図書館はいずれも徒歩約3分の案内です。イベント参加と展望、読書や市街地の散策を組み合わせられます。普通車とバスの駐車区画があるため、団体利用でも車種に合った入場と料金を選びます。
普通車は30分単位と24時間上限
普通車は30分100円、24時間の上限600円です。バスは12時間1,000円、24時間の上限2,000円で、普通車の上限とは異なります。24時間入出庫でき、管理員のいる時間は7～22時。入庫時に車種と料金を確認し、周辺施設の見学や食事に必要な滞在時間に合わせて使えます。
全階再開後も残る7区画の制限
2026年10月9日から点検後の全階利用を再開していますが、2階の一部区画は利用制限が続きます。海側A2は41・42・43・50番、国道側B2は48・49・50番が対象です。施設全体が閉鎖されている状態ではなく、入庫後は現地の規制表示に従い、使用可能な区画へ駐車します。
トイレと無料の普通充電設備
トイレと障害者対応トイレを備え、EV用200V普通充電器が2基あります。充電自体は無料ですが、駐車料金は必要です。短時間の急速充電設備とは方式が異なるため、車両が普通充電に対応していることを確かめて利用します。市街地の徒歩観光と充電を合わせる場合も、充電区画の利用ルールに従います。

Walking to Kaikyo Messe and the library
At 2-8-25 Hosoe-cho, the facility is around three minutes on foot from Kaikyo Messe, Kaikyo Yume Tower and Dream Ship with its library. Combine an event, tower views and a city walk while leaving the vehicle here. Separate car and bus spaces have different tariffs.
Half-hour billing and the car cap
Cars cost ¥100 per thirty minutes, capped at ¥600 per twenty-four hours. Buses cost ¥1,000 per twelve hours, capped at ¥2,000 per twenty-four hours. Entry and exit are available around the clock, while attendants are present 7:00–22:00. Choose the appropriate vehicle tariff when planning visits and meals nearby.
Seven bays remain restricted after reopening
All floors reopened after inspection on October 9, 2026, but selected second-floor bays remain restricted: sea-side A2 numbers 41, 42, 43 and 50, and road-side B2 numbers 48, 49 and 50. Follow the on-site barriers and signs to an available bay.
Toilets and free normal-speed charging
The facility has ordinary and accessible toilets and two 200-volt normal-speed EV chargers. Charging is free, while parking remains chargeable. These are normal-speed rather than rapid chargers, so use a compatible vehicle and follow the charging-bay rules when combining charging with a city visit.

Shimonoseki extends from the station and Karato waterfront to Chofu, Kawatana, Kikugawa, Toyota and Hohoku. Allow travel time between districts and coordinate restaurant opening, accommodation arrival deadlines and attraction closures. Choose parking according to the district visited and each facility’s conditions.
