A gateway for Seki-juku and a rest stop

Roadside Station Seki-juku is a highway rest facility on National Route 1 near JR Seki Station. It stands at the gateway to Seki-juku, a post town on the old Tokaido, and can serve as a stop before or after walking through the historic streets.

The building includes visitor information, a shop for local products and a light-meal counter. Visitors can park, take a break and check local sightseeing information before continuing their trip.

Tourism listings state that the car park and toilets are available 24 hours. This is separate from the opening hours of the shop and food facilities inside the building.

Getting to Seki Station and the old Tokaido

The roadside station is at 674-8 Shinjo, Seki-cho, Kameyama. It is listed as about a one-minute walk from JR Seki Station, making it easy to visit by train as well.

Use Roadside Station Seki-juku as a starting point for the float exhibits at Seki Float Museum and a walk along the old Tokaido.
