書写山ロープウェイ山麓駐車場は、車で訪ねて圓教寺へ上がる人のための山麓側の駐車場です。無料で車を置き、ロープウェイと山上の徒歩またはバスへ乗り継ぎます。書写の山の風景を歩く行程では、往復のロープウェイ時間が駐車後の予定の軸になります。

山麓駅横の利用者用無料駐車場
書写1199-2の山麓駅横にあり、ロープウェイ利用者用の無料駐車場です。収容は普通車約270台と観光バス7台。車を山麓に置いて、ロープウェイで書写山へ上がる方式になります。
無料駐車と別にかかる乗車・参拝料金
ロープウェイは約4分で山上駅に着き、往復大人1,200円・小人600円です。圓教寺の入山志納金は中学生以上800円、小学生500円、未就学児無料。志納所から摩尼殿下までの山内往復バスは、別途500円を加えます。駐車料金と山上での移動・参拝料金は別の区分です。
道路から山麓駅へ到着する
山陽道姫路西ICから姫路西バイパス相野ランプを経て約15分、夢前スマートICから約20分、姫路バイパス中地ランプから約20分です。カーナビがロープウェイを高速道路上に設定する場合は、南隣の「杵屋 書写お菓子の里」を目的地にする案内があります。
帰りのロープウェイと二〇二七年の運休
10月11日～11月30日の下り最終は月～土17時、日祝18時です。山上では参道や堂の間を歩く時間があり、摩尼殿や三之堂を巡って山麓へ戻ります。2027年2月5日～10月28日は大規模改修でロープウェイ運休予定のため、その期間は通常のロープウェイ経路を使えません。

Free user parking beside the lower station
Beside the lower station at 1199-2 Shosha, the parking area is free for ropeway users. It accommodates approximately 270 cars and seven coaches. Leave the vehicle at the foot of the mountain and ascend by ropeway.
Ropeway and temple charges separate from parking
The ropeway reaches the upper station in around four minutes, with return fares of ¥1,200 adults and ¥600 children. Engyoji entry costs ¥800 for junior-high-school pupils and older, ¥500 for primary pupils, with preschoolers free. The return shuttle between the donation point and below Maniden costs an additional ¥500. These transport and temple charges are separate from free parking.
Approaching the lower station by road
Approaches include around fifteen minutes from Aino ramp via the Himeji West Bypass after Himeji-Nishi IC, twenty minutes from Yumesaki Smart IC, or twenty from Nakaji ramp on the Himeji Bypass. If navigation places the ropeway on the expressway, the operator recommends neighbouring Kineya Shosha Okashi-no-Sato immediately to the south as the destination.
Return ropeway times and the 2027 suspension
From October 11 through November 30, the final descent is 17:00 Monday–Saturday and 18:00 Sundays and holidays. The visit includes walking between the mountain paths, Maniden and the three halls before returning to the lower station. Major refurbishment is scheduled to suspend the ropeway February 5–October 28, 2027, removing the normal ropeway route during that period.
