首里城公園の駐車場は、総合案内所などがある首里杜館の地下1・2階です。P1とP2は各階につながる入口で、一般車は予約なしの空き状況に応じた利用となります。駐車は3時間以内で、小型車の最大料金は1,000円。2026年11月22日は公園の臨時休園・休場日です。

首里杜館に直結するP1・P2

駐車場は首里杜館の地下1階と地下2階で、入口P1は地下1階、P2は地下2階につながります。総合案内所、ショップ、レストランのある首里杜館へ直接移動できます。

各階は一般車と予約バスの共用で、地下1階はバス最大26台、地下2階は最大20台、優先スペースは各4台です。バス予約がない場合の一般車は各階最大58台と案内されています。

季節別の開場時間と3時間以内の利用

開場は通年8時30分で、4～11月は19時30分、12～3月は18時30分に閉場します。2026年7月1日からの開場時間で、駐車時間は3時間以内です。

一般車の事前予約はできず、当日の空き状況による利用です。混雑・満車の場合には周辺の民間駐車場へ案内されることがあります。

小型車の時間料金と支払い

小型車は最初の60分500円、その後30分ごと250円、最大1,000円です。2026年4月1日改定の料金で、最大料金があっても3時間以内という利用時間の制限があります。

個人利用の料金所では現金と、JCB・VISA・Mastercard・AMERICAN EXPRESS・Diners Clubのクレジットカードが使えます。公園の有料区域への入場料は駐車料金とは別です。

2ナンバーのバスは完全予約制

大型バス、マイクロバス、ハイエースコミューターなどの2ナンバー車両は、駐車予約システムでの事前予約が必要です。料金は30分700円、最大2,800円です。

一般団体の受付は利用2か月前の1日13時、学校団体は3か月前の1日13時からで、締切は来園2日前です。団体料金はカードまたはコンビニで前払いし、当日は印刷した駐車証を持参します。

手帳による個人と団体の減免

運転者または同乗者が身体障害者手帳・療育手帳・精神障害者保健福祉手帳を料金所で提示すると、普通乗用車・小型乗用車・軽自動車の駐車料金が全額免除されます。ミライロIDも使えます。

乗車人数11人以上の団体バス等の全額免除は、身障者団体に限られます。通常のツアーに障がいのある方が同乗している場合は、団体の減免対象にはなりません。

11月22日の臨時休場と正殿観覧

2026年11月22日は正殿復元の完成式に伴い、有料区域を含む全ての園内施設が臨時休園・休場します。駐車場の案内にも同日の休場が明記されています。

正殿の一般公開は11月23日正午開始と案内され、内部観覧は日時指定の事前予約制です。一般車の駐車予約はできないため、正殿の観覧予約とは別の扱いになります。

Shurijo Castle Park parking occupies the two basement levels of Suimuikan, home to the visitor information desk. P1 and P2 lead to the respective levels, and ordinary cars use available spaces without reservations. Stays are limited to three hours, with a ¥1,000 small-car cap. The park has a special closure on November 22, 2026.

P1 and P2 connect directly to Suimuikan

The car park is on Suimuikan’s first and second basement levels: entrance P1 leads to basement 1 and P2 to basement 2. Both connect directly to the building with its visitor information desk, shops and restaurants.

Both levels accommodate ordinary cars and reserved buses. Basement 1 has up to 26 bus spaces and basement 2 up to 20, with four priority spaces on each level. When there are no bus bookings, each level is listed as accommodating up to 58 ordinary cars.

Seasonal hours and the three-hour limit

Opening is at 08:30 year-round, with closing at 19:30 in April–November and 18:30 in December–March. These hours apply from July 1, 2026, and parking is limited to three hours.

Ordinary cars cannot be reserved in advance and may park according to availability on the day. During congestion or when full, visitors may be directed to private car parks nearby.

Small-car charges and payment

Small cars cost ¥500 for the first 60 minutes, followed by ¥250 per 30 minutes, capped at ¥1,000. These rates were revised on April 1, 2026; the three-hour stay limit still applies.

Individual visitors can pay at the booth with cash or JCB, Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Diners Club credit cards. Admission to the park’s paid area is separate from the parking charge.

Advance booking for category 2 buses

Category 2 vehicles such as large buses, minibuses and Hiace Commuters require advance booking through the parking reservation system. The rate is ¥700 per 30 minutes, capped at ¥2,800.

Bookings open at 13:00 on the first day of the month two months before use for general groups, or three months before use for school groups. The deadline is two days before arrival. Group charges are prepaid by card or at a convenience store, and a printed parking permit is required on the day.

Disability concessions for individuals and groups

Parking for ordinary passenger cars, compact passenger cars and kei cars is fully waived when the driver or a passenger presents a physical, intellectual or mental disability certificate at the booth. Mirairo ID is also accepted.

For group buses carrying 11 or more people, a full waiver is limited to groups of physically disabled people. An ordinary tour does not qualify for the group waiver simply because a disabled person is travelling with it.

November 22 closure and Seiden viewing

On November 22, 2026, all facilities within the park, including the paid area, close for the ceremony marking completion of the Seiden restoration. The parking guide also specifically lists this closure.

The Seiden is scheduled to open to the public at noon on November 23, with advance time-slot reservations for its interior. This is separate from parking: ordinary-car spaces cannot be reserved.
