Cars and light cars cost ¥100 for the first hour, then another ¥100 per subsequent hour. Budget for the entire parking period when planning a longer walk. Do not confuse this with Minamijonai’s daytime bracket of ¥400 beyond two hours.

Round-the-clock service supports dinner and evening walks as well as daytime visits, while hourly charges continue. Match the parking period to restaurant hours and onward travel to the accommodation, including time for walks before and after dinner.
Continuing through Oteguchi towards Yobuko
The city lists Zaimokucho among its Yobuko park-and-ride lots. Oteguchi stand 2 is about five minutes away. Combine central shopping with onward bus travel, allowing for parking charges until the return; bus fares are separate.
Other stops to combine within Karatsu
In central Karatsu, combine the Former Takatori Residence with Nakamachi shops on foot. Coordinate hotel meals, restaurant closing days and evening booking requirements with daytime and nighttime parking tariffs. Trips to Yobuko/Chinzei, Hamatama/Nanayama or Ouchi/Kyuragi need additional driving or bus time beyond central walks.
