海響館｜アシカの砂浜・フグ・ペンギンの水族館

関門海峡の魚、多彩なフグ、ペンギンを展示する下関の水族館。砂浜と浅瀬の「ひれあしビーチ」ではカリフォルニアアシカを観察できます。9時30分～17時30分、最終入館17時。

ひれあしビーチと展示

「ひれあしビーチ」は2025年8月1日のリニューアル再開で加わった、カリフォルニアアシカの展示です。砂浜と浅瀬のある環境を観察した後は、関門海峡を題材にした水槽、多彩なフグの展示、ペンギン村へ。シロナガスクジラの全身骨格も見どころです。

入館料と市民料金

一般料金は高校生以上2,500円、小・中学生1,200円、3歳以上の幼児500円、3歳未満無料です。下関市民料金はそれぞれ1,000円・450円・200円ですが、利用者一人ずつ、現住所と氏名を証明する書類の原本が必要です。健康保険証による市民確認は2026年7月31日で終了し、現在は利用できません。

開館時間と体験イベント

通常は9時30分～17時30分、最終入館17時です。体験イベントはオンライン予約制です。

再入館・館内設備・交通規制

同じ日の再入館には入館券が必要で、紛失しても再発行されません。持ち込んだ食事は館内で食べられず、指定の3階屋上や外のボードウォークで食べられます。車いす・ベビーカーは館内用の貸出で予約できず、台数にも限りがあります。2026年11月1日は下関海響マラソンによる周辺交通規制と混雑が告知されています。周辺駐車場の入館者割引はありません。

Hireashi Beach and exhibits

Hireashi Beach opened with the aquarium’s August 1, 2025 reopening and houses California sea lions in a habitat with sand and shallows. Continue to the Kanmon Strait tank, varied pufferfish displays and Penguin Village. A complete blue whale skeleton is another feature.

Admission and resident rates

Standard admission is ¥2,500 for high-school students and older, ¥1,200 for elementary/junior-high pupils and ¥500 for preschoolers aged three or older; under-threes are free. Shimonoseki resident rates are ¥1,000/¥450/¥200, requiring each person’s original proof of current address and name. Resident verification using health insurance cards ended on July 31, 2026; they no longer qualify.

Hours and hands-on events

Normal hours are 09:30–17:30, with last entry at 17:00. Hands-on events require online reservations.

Re-entry, facilities and traffic restrictions

Keep the ticket for same-day re-entry; lost tickets are not replaced. Brought-in food cannot be eaten indoors; designated outdoor areas include the third-floor roof and outside boardwalk. Indoor-use wheelchairs and strollers cannot be reserved and have limited stock. Traffic restrictions and congestion are announced for the Shimonoseki Kaikyo Marathon on November 1, 2026. Aquarium admission provides no parking discount.
