横手市増田まんが美術館は、作品を読む楽しさと、紙に描かれた原画を未来へ残す仕事に触れられる施設です。マンガ文化展示室、常設展示室、マンガの蔵展示室、ライブラリーなどがあり、増田の内蔵巡りと組み合わせられます。常設見学と有料企画展では必要な入場券が異なります。

原画とマンガ文化をたどる館内
館内ではマンガ文化展示室や常設展示室を巡り、マンガの蔵展示室で原画を収蔵する美術館の役割に触れられます。ライブラリーの本は館内閲覧用で、貸し出しは行っていません。展示室内の写真・動画撮影は原則禁止で、撮影可能な展示は室内表示に従います。無料ロッカーがあり、入らない荷物は総合受付で預かります。
秋の二つの企画展を選ぶ
2026年9月19日～11月8日の高橋よしひろ自薦原画展は税込で大人1,000円、高校生700円、中学生500円、小学生300円です。10月24日～12月27日のしげの秀一原画展は大人1,500円、高校生1,000円、中学生700円、小学生500円で、頭文字D・MFゴースト・昴と彗星の原画などを展示します。どちらも未就学児無料、当日券を会場で販売します。
子供の同伴と券売機、館内の食事
企画展の券売機は現金のみです。10名以上の有料団体は2割引で、事前の団体受付表提出が必要。対象の障害者手帳などの所持者と付き添い1名は無料になります。小学生以下の子供だけでは入場できず、保護者同伴です。飲食物の持ち込みとペット入館は不可で、補助犬は同伴可能。マンガカフェは10～16時・LO15時30分、持ち帰り提供はありません。
十月の休館日と増田へのアクセス
開館は10～18時、入館は17時30分まで。2026年10月20日は休館で、しげの秀一展の期間中は11月17日と12月15日が休館です。十文字ICから車約10分、無料駐車180台で大型バスも利用できます。十文字駅から増田蔵の駅まではバス約5～10分。町並みの見学と組み合わせる場合は、企画展の最終入場時刻も含めて歩く順序を選べます。

駅周辺、増田・十文字、平鹿、雄物川、大森、大雄、山内は移動する方面が異なります。見学や食事の締切と、宿へ到着する時刻を合わせて行程を組めます。関連する駐車場はそれぞれの施設・地域の利用拠点です。
Yokote Masuda Manga Museum connects the enjoyment of reading with the work of preserving original drawings. Cultural displays, permanent galleries, the Manga no Kura collection area and a library offer different approaches to the medium. Combine a visit with Masuda’s historic storehouses, choosing between the free permanent areas and ticketed special exhibitions.

Discover original art and manga culture
Explore the cultural and permanent displays, then the Manga no Kura area to consider the museum’s preservation role. Library books are for reading inside and cannot be borrowed. Photography and video in exhibition rooms are generally prohibited, with any exceptions indicated in the gallery. Free lockers are provided; the main desk can hold luggage too large to fit.
Choose between the autumn exhibitions
The Yoshihiro Takahashi exhibition, September 19–November 8, 2026, costs adult ¥1,000, high school ¥700, junior high ¥500 and primary ¥300, tax included. Shuichi Shigeno’s October 24–December 27 exhibition features work from Initial D, MF Ghost and Subaru to Suisei: adult ¥1,500, high school ¥1,000, junior high ¥700 and primary ¥500. Preschool children enter either exhibition free; tickets are sold on the day.
Children, ticket machines and café use
Special-exhibition ticket machines take cash only. Paying groups of ten or more receive twenty percent off and submit the group form in advance. Eligible disability-certificate holders and one companion enter free. Primary-age children and younger need an accompanying guardian. Outside food and pets are prohibited; assistance dogs are admitted. The café runs 10:00–16:00, last orders 15:30, without takeaway service.
October closure and reaching Masuda
Opening is 10:00–18:00, with entry by 17:30. October 20, 2026 is closed; closures during the Shigeno exhibition are November 17 and December 15. Drive about ten minutes from Jumonji IC to 180 free spaces suitable for buses too. Buses from Jumonji Station to Masuda Kura no Eki take roughly five to ten minutes. Fit any storehouse walk around the exhibition’s last-entry time.
Other stops to combine within Yokote
The station area, Masuda/Jumonji, Hiraka, Omonogawa, Omori, Taiyu and Sannai involve different directions of travel. Combine sightseeing and meal deadlines with the intended accommodation arrival time. Related parking serves its own facility or area as a stopping point.
