Following rice through the brewing process
The first floor displays historic vats, barrels and other implements, with models following the process from rice polishing to finished sake. Comparing large containers with smaller tools makes the accumulated craft more tangible. Panels cover brewing history, master brewers and drinking vessels. This is a museum-based introduction to the industry, separate from a visit to an operating brewery.
Films, quizzes and paintings
The theatre introduces brewing and Osaki's fermentation culture, including animation about Susanoo and the eight-headed serpent. Quizzes and mechanical figures add ways to review the processes seen in the displays. An event gallery occupies part of the first floor, while the second floor contains paintings. Technical interpretation and art can therefore be explored within the same visit.
