公園の緑を眺める和室
小学校の跡地を生かした建物に和室12室があり、各室から周りの木々を眺められます。ベッドではなく布団を使い、敷く作業は宿泊者自身で行います。トイレ・洗面化粧台は部屋に付かず共用で、電子レンジと冷蔵庫も宿泊者共有。館内には無料Wi-Fiがあります。家族や仲間と同じ部屋で過ごす旅行に加え、会議や研修、スポーツ合宿などにも利用できる施設です。
2026年5月改定の宿泊料金
2026年5月1日からの大人1名1室料金は、素泊5,240円、朝食付き6,190円です。宿泊料金には隣接する加護坊温泉さくらの湯の利用料が含まれますが、朝風呂は利用できません。チェックアウト後に入浴する場合は別に温泉券を購入する方式。チェックイン15時、アウト10時で、昼の個室休憩は11～14時と区分されています。食事の有無と入浴の時間帯を分けて選べます。
タオルと子どもの備品を準備する
大人には浴衣、歯ブラシ、フェイスタオルを用意していますが、バスタオルはありません。持参するか、さくらの湯の貸しタオル150円を利用できます。小学生・中学生にはアメニティが付かないため、浴衣や歯ブラシ、フェイスタオルを持参する案内です。近隣にはパークゴルフやテニスなどの運動施設があり、活動後に部屋で休み、温泉へ移動する滞在を組み立てられます。
駐車、定休日と宿泊税
無料駐車場があり、古川ICから車で約30分です。休館は毎月第2火曜で、祝日の場合は翌日へ移ります。メンテナンスによる別の休館もあります。県宿泊税は食事や税を除く素泊まり料金が1人1泊6,000円以上の場合300円、未満は非課税。学校の教育活動による宿泊には証明による免除制度もあります。宿泊と温泉の料金、部屋で必要な備品を合わせて見ておくと、共用設備の宿でも過ごしやすくなります。

Japanese rooms overlooking park greenery
The former school site now houses twelve Japanese rooms looking onto surrounding trees. Guests sleep on futons and lay them out themselves. Toilets and washbasins are outside the rooms and shared, as are the refrigerator and microwave. Free Wi-Fi is available. Alongside family and group trips, the accommodation can support meetings, training and sports camps.
Accommodation charges revised in May 2026
From May 1, 2026, the listed adult single-occupancy charges are ¥5,240 room only or ¥6,190 with breakfast. Admission to adjoining Kagobo Onsen Sakura-no-Yu is included, but morning bathing is not available. Bathing after check-out requires buying a separate ticket. Overnight arrival is at 15:00 and departure at 10:00, while day-room rest is a separate 11:00–14:00 arrangement.
Preparing towels and children's amenities
Adults receive a yukata, toothbrush and face towel, but no bath towel. Bring one or use Sakura-no-Yu's ¥150 towel rental. Elementary and junior high pupils receive no amenities and should bring their own nightwear, toothbrush and face towel. Nearby park golf and tennis facilities make it possible to combine activity with a rest in the room and a visit to the hot spring.
Parking, closing days and accommodation tax
Free parking is available, around thirty minutes by car from Furukawa Interchange. The regular closure is the second Tuesday monthly, moving to the next day for a holiday, with additional maintenance closures possible. Miyagi accommodation tax is ¥300 when the room-only pre-tax charge reaches ¥6,000 per person per night and exempt below that threshold. Certified school educational stays also have an exemption system.
