Bingoya’s rooms and gardens spread across a slope overlooking Tamashima Port. Welcoming guests since 1914, the culinary ryokan links sukiya-style accommodation by stone steps. About thirty minutes by car from the Bikan district, it combines seasonal kaiseki and garden scenery with a stay shaped by the hillside setting.

斜面の庭と部屋を結ぶ石段
建物は港を見下ろす山の斜面に点在し、上の部屋ほど視界が広がります。庭は春の桜、新緑、秋の紅葉と季節で表情を変えます。客室までは最低20段以上の石段を歩き、平坦な館内の移動とは条件が異なります。荷物を運ぶ経路と部屋の位置を合わせ、段差を歩ける旅程に組み込めます。
九室の広さと寝室の配置
客室は全9室で、建物ごとに造りが異なります。只庵は4.5畳で1～2名、清風荘は4.5畳に次の間2畳を備えます。皆喜亭の桐は2階10畳で専用浴室があり、さつきは2階8畳です。部屋によって階や広さ、浴室の有無が異なるため、人数だけでなく館内の過ごし方に合わせて選べます。
季節の会席と別棟の木風呂
料亭を前身とする宿で、季節の食材を会席に仕立てます。食事付きプランの夕朝食は、客室または別の個室で用意する方式です。高野槇の浴槽を備えた風呂は別棟にあり、家族やグループごとの貸切です。16～24時、定員5名で、到着順に案内されます。部屋、食事の個室、浴場の移動を一緒に考えて過ごせます。
玉島での到着と宿のサービス

Room sizes and arrangements among nine rooms
The nine rooms have different layouts. One small detached room has 4.5 mats for one or two guests; another adds a two-mat adjoining area. Upstairs Kiri has ten mats and its own bathroom, while upstairs Satsuki has eight. Floor, space and bathroom arrangements vary, so consider the stay’s practical needs as well as party size.
Seasonal kaiseki and a separate wooden bath
The former restaurant prepares seasonal kaiseki. Meal-inclusive plans serve dinner and Japanese breakfast in the room or another private room. A separate bathhouse contains a koyamaki wooden tub for private use by families or groups. Capacity is five, hours 16:00–24:00, with parties allocated in arrival order. Consider movements between room, dining space and bath.
Arrival in Tamashima and practical services
Check-in/out is 16:00/10:00, with fourteen parking spaces and no station shuttle. Wi-Fi is available. Pets cost ¥2,200 per animal; owners bring food and bowls.
