市営美観地区南駐車場は、倉敷市芸文館の地下にある駐車場です。美観地区の南側から歩く拠点になり、館の見学や本町での昼食をまとめて回れます。昼夜で上限が分かれる料金と、7～23時の入出庫時間が特徴で、夕食後に戻る予定も含めて選べます。

芸文館の地下から南側の町へ
所在地は中央1-18-1、倉敷市芸文館の地下1階です。ゲート式の自走式で177台、車椅子専用は4台を設けています。予約は受け付けず先着順。美観地区南側の立地を使い、倉敷川沿いの博物館や町家の店へ歩く行程を組めます。地下の駐車場から町へ出る時間と、帰りに車へ戻る時間を含めて利用できます。
昼八百三十円と夜五百二十円
基本は30分100円で、昼8～20時は最大830円、夜20時～翌8時は最大520円です。入庫から一律12時間ごとではなく、時計の時刻で区切る設定。営業時間は7～23時なので、夜間上限が翌8時まででも深夜に自由に出庫できるわけではありません。見学や夕食の終了を23時までの出庫に合わせて計画できます。
高さ二メートルと精算方法
普通・小型・軽自動車が対象で、荷物や取付物を含め長5m・幅1.9m・高2m以下です。カード、交通系IC、電子マネー、QRコードによる駐車料金精算はできず、現金、回数券、専用プリペイドを使います。入口で駐車券を受け取り、出口で券を使って精算する方式です。屋上荷物のある車や背の高い車は、全高に合わせて別候補も選べます。
有料充電と対象者の減額
普通充電は2台で有料です。EV充電カードのチャージスルゾウ・e-Mobility Power、EV充電エネチェンジのスマートフォンアプリに対応し、駐車料金とは別に扱います。対象手帳を持つ人が運転・乗車する車は普通料金の50％減免で、精算前に駐車券と手帳等を管理事務所へ提示します。7～23時出庫が対象で、精算後の払い戻しはありません。

From Geibunkan’s basement into the southern district
Located at 1-18-1 Chuo on Geibunkan basement level 1, the gated self-drive lot holds 177 cars, including four wheelchair-designated spaces. Parking is first come without reservations. Its southern position supports walks to riverside museums and townhouse shops. Allow time for moving between the underground lot and the streets.
Daytime ¥830 and night-time ¥520 caps
The basic rate is ¥100 per thirty minutes, capped at ¥830 08:00–20:00 and ¥520 20:00–08:00. These are clock-based periods, rather than a uniform twelve hours from entry. Access is 07:00–23:00, so the overnight charging period does not provide unrestricted late-night exits. Plan sightseeing and dinner around departure by 23:00.
Two-metre clearance and payment methods
Ordinary, compact and kei cars must fit L5 m/W1.9 m/H2 m including attachments and luggage. Parking payment does not accept cards, transport IC, e-money or QR; use cash, parking coupons or the dedicated prepaid card. Collect a ticket at entry and use it for exit payment. Match overall vehicle height to the underground clearance.
Paid charging and eligible reductions
Two standard chargers are paid separately, accepting Charge Suruzo / e-Mobility Power charging cards and the EV Charge Enechange app. Cars carrying eligible disability-certificate holders receive a 50% ordinary-charge reduction for exits 07:00–23:00. Present the parking ticket and certificate at the office before payment; later refunds are unavailable.
