客室の温泉と庭園付き露天風呂

客室風呂は自家源泉の相玉温泉です。庭園付き露天風呂客室は51㎡・定員4名で、庭園29㎡と専用の岩風呂・檜風呂・十和田石風呂のいずれかを備えます。和洋スイートは75㎡・定員5名で内風呂付き。客室はすべて禁煙、無料Wi-Fiを使えます。庭園付き露天風呂客室の部屋食は4名までで、朝食を部屋で取る場合は5日前までの申出が必要です。

大浴場の清掃時間と利用範囲

大浴場は11時～15時の清掃時間を除いて利用できます。露天風呂と低温のスチームサウナがあり、貸切風呂と日帰り入浴は行っていません。入れ墨・ファッションタトゥーがある場合は大浴場を利用できず、子どもだけでの入浴もできません。館内には貸出用車椅子があり、廊下などで使用できます。

宿泊時間と子どもの料金区分

基本のチェックインは15時、チェックアウトは11時で、プランに独自の時間指定がある場合はそちらが優先です。大人料金で利用する場合は入湯税150円が別途必要。0～5歳で食事・寝具なしは2,200円、寝具だけを使う場合は3,300円の施設利用料です。食事・寝具付きは3～5歳が大人料金の50％、小学生70％。食物アレルギーの相談は3日前までです。

予約制の送迎と相玉交差点からの経路

伊豆急下田駅発の無料送迎は14時・15時・16時・17時、ホテル発は9時10分・10時10分・11時10分で、事前予約が必要です。駐車場は無料・予約不要。車のナビは電話番号ではなく住所で検索します。下田駅方面から県道15号を進み、相玉交差点で右折を案内されても直進し、約3分で右側にホテルがあります。

下田市内で組み合わせる訪問先

相玉の宿と、駅前のロープウェイ・きんめ屋を送迎でつなげられます。きんめ屋は火曜休、ロープウェイの冬季上り最終は16時15分です。下田とうきゅうは駅側の時間貸し駐車場で、宿の無料駐車場とは別。宿への無料バスは予約して利用します。

Room hot springs and private garden baths

Room baths use the private Aitama spring. Garden rooms with open-air baths measure 51 square metres, sleep four, and have a 29-square-metre garden with a rock, cypress or Towada-stone bath. Japanese-Western suites measure 75 square metres, sleep five and have an indoor bath. All rooms are nonsmoking with free Wi-Fi. In-room dining in the garden-bath category is for up to four people; breakfast in the room needs five days’ notice.

Public bath cleaning hours and access conditions

The public baths can be used except during cleaning from 11:00 to 15:00. There are open-air baths and a low-temperature steam sauna, with no private-bath hire or day bathing. Tattoos, including decorative tattoos, prevent public-bath use, and children cannot bathe alone. Loan wheelchairs are available for movement around the hotel.

Stay times and children’s charges

Standard check-in is at 15:00 and checkout at 11:00, with any plan-specific times taking precedence. Guests paying the adult rate incur a separate ¥150 bathing tax. For children aged zero to five, the facility charge is ¥2,200 without meals or bedding, or ¥3,300 with bedding only. Meals and bedding cost fifty per cent of the adult rate for ages three to five, or seventy per cent for elementary-school pupils. Allergy requests require at least three days’ notice.

Reserved shuttle and the Aitama road approach

Reserved free shuttles leave Izukyu-Shimoda Station at 14:00, 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00, and the hotel at 9:10, 10:10 and 11:10. Parking is free and needs no reservation. Search the address rather than the telephone number in vehicle navigation. Approaching along Prefectural Route 15 from Shimoda Station, continue straight at Aitama junction even if directed to turn right; the hotel is on the right about three minutes later.

Other stops to combine within Shimoda

Use the hotel transfer to connect Aitama with the ropeway and Kinmeya by the station. Kinmeya closes Tuesdays, and the last winter uphill departure is 16:15. Times Shimoda Tokyu is a separate station-area paid lot; the inn has free parking. Reserve the free hotel bus.
