下田ロープウェイ｜寝姿山の展望散策、往復料金と冬季の最終便

下田ロープウェイは、駅近くの山麓から寝姿山自然公園へ上がる交通と観光の施設です。山頂では下田港を望み、花々のある遊歩道を愛染堂へ歩けます。往復乗車と山頂散策には約1時間を見込み、季節ごとの最終便に合わせて市街の立ち寄りを組めます。

Shimoda Ropeway links the station area with Mount Nesugata Nature Park. Above Shimoda Harbour, walking paths lead past flowers and viewpoints to Aizendo Hall. Allow roughly an hour for the return ride and a walk on the summit, using the seasonal last departures to plan the rest of your time in town.

寝姿山から港の景色を眺める

ロープウェイは片道約3分30秒で寝姿山へ上がります。山頂には下田港や伊豆諸島を見渡す展望場所があり、遊歩道を歩きながら花々や池を楽しめます。復元された幕末の見張小屋も見どころ。山頂駅から遊歩道の奥の愛染堂までは徒歩約10分で、往復乗車を含む全体の滞在は約1時間が目安です。

往復料金と小さな子どもの乗車

往復運賃は中学生以上1,500円、小学生750円税込です。6歳未満は大人1人につき1人が無料となります。窓口ではクレジットカード、電子マネー、コード決済を利用可能。毎時00・15・30・45分に発車し、発車2分前には並びます。混雑時は臨時便が出る場合があります。

10月中旬からの最終便と山頂での過ごし方

10月16日～3月15日は8時45分～16時45分、上り最終16時15分・下り最終16時45分です。3月16日～10月15日は17時まで、上り最終16時30分となります。天候不良時は運休の場合があります。愛染堂は縁結びで知られ、山麓で書置きの御朱印を扱います。山頂まで車や徒歩で入ることはできず、運休時も管理地内へ立ち入れません。

駅前の乗り場、専用駐車場と段差

伊豆急下田駅から山麓駅までは徒歩約1分です。正面の専用駐車場は35台無料で、ロープウェイ利用時間内に限り、営業後は閉鎖します。ホームと山頂遊歩道は階段・坂があるため車椅子・ベビーカーは使用できません。小型犬は搬器内でキャリーバッグ等を使い、山頂遊歩道ではリードを付けます。寝姿山から高根山へのハイキングは私有地を含むため禁止されています。

下田市内で組み合わせる訪問先

ロープウェイと隣のきんめ屋を駅前で組み合わせられます。下田とうきゅうの駐車場は30分200円・最大料金なしで、ロープウェイの35台無料駐車とは別です。東急ホテルへは駅から無料送迎を使い、山頂からは冬季最終下り16時45分までに戻れます。

Look over the harbour from Mount Nesugata

The journey up Mount Nesugata takes about three and a half minutes. Summit viewpoints face Shimoda Harbour and the Izu Islands, with paths past flowers and a pond. A reconstructed late-Edo lookout hut adds a historical stop. Aizendo Hall is about ten minutes on foot from the upper station; a return ride and summit visit take roughly an hour overall.

Return fares and travelling with young children

Return fares are ¥1,500 for junior-high pupils and older visitors, or ¥750 for elementary-school pupils, including tax. One child under six travels free with each adult. Credit cards, electronic money and code payments are accepted. Departures are normally at 00, 15, 30 and 45 minutes past the hour; queue two minutes before departure. Additional services may run when busy.

Seasonal final departures and time on the summit

From October 16 to March 15, opening is 8:45–16:45, with the last uphill departure at 16:15 and downhill at 16:45. March 16–October 15 services run until 17:00, with the last uphill departure at 16:30. Bad weather can suspend operations. Aizendo is associated with relationships, and prepared goshuin calligraphy sheets are sold at the lower station. The summit park cannot be reached by car or on foot; the managed grounds also close during suspensions.

The station-area terminal, parking and steps

The lower terminal is about one minute on foot from Izukyu-Shimoda Station. The thirty-five free spaces opposite it are for the duration of a ropeway visit and close after business hours. Steps and slopes on the platforms and summit paths prevent wheelchair and stroller use. Small dogs need a carrier in the cabin and a lead on the summit paths. Hiking from Nesugatayama to Takaneyama is prohibited because the route crosses private land.

Other stops to combine within Shimoda

Combine the ropeway with neighbouring Kinmeya. Times Shimoda Tokyu charges ¥200 per thirty minutes without a cap, separately from the ropeway’s thirty-five free spaces. Use the hotel’s free station transfer and return from the summit by the winter last downhill departure at 16:45.
